If you have read the book "misery and purity" about DIJ you know that there will be no end to discussions about these topics without any satisfying results. There will be no direct proof for one side or the other to show what Douglas´ artistic intentions are. What can definitely be said is that DIJ has been influenced by many different aspects; like Japan art, Rune magic, Third Reich, very personal matters, religion and politics. DIJ is a conglomerat to be discussed but not to be decided upon.
So why are you insisting they would not want to be associated with fascism in any way when not only is that something they blatently want, but it is also something you don't know?
