I'd like to remind that in World War II Hungary was a Nazi ally and its troops participated in the occupation of the Soviet Union. There were three Hungarian SS divisions. So don't try to depict Hungary as a poor victim of Soviet aggression.
@VChapaev What is vengria, i dont know? innocent martyrs of an army, yesso blame the soviet leaders who sent them to attack an other country. what the hell were they doing in hungary? can you explain that?
Russians being in Hungary was all about interests... there alvays have been trators between the Hungarians as well...there still are...but the Russians used this very good to their own interests...no metter what sacrifice needs...no metter if thousands of people die both Hungarians and Russians.
A revolution needs not just a start, it needs the deep sentiments that people have during long time. The wishdom to be free from all those who want to surpress them. If those are Rakosis or Stalinists or whatever. Hungarians were living in a time when in own country their lives and all around was decided and ruled by ones that had nothing really to do with a better Hungary...
You all might try reading "The Hungarian Tragedy" by Peter Fryer and "Seven Days of Freedom: Hungarian Uprising, 1956" by Noel Barber, two British journalists who witnessed and documented the events. Both men through a series of interviews with rebels, students, and workers confirmed that this was not a struggle for NATO "freedom", but to oust the Stalinists. They also confirm that the 1956 Revolution was started by anti-Rakosi Communists.

These clips of Hungarians taking back their country from their communist oppressors will live on forever in the hearts of anti-communists and in the nightmares of Marxist bastards forever.
very well done.. comsidering my late grandfather was from turulung hungary and came over before the war. he was heartsick when the uprising failed and my great grandparents were unable to escape to canada from hungary. one of my dad's first memories is of my grandmother sewing money into the hems of dresses and clothes that they were sending to the old country for my great grandmother.
Piros a vér a pesti utcán. Eső esik és elveri, mossa a vért, de megmaradnak a pesti utca kövein. Piros a vér a pesti utcán, a háromszín-lobogók mellé tegyetek ki gyászlobogót. A háromszín-lobogók mellé tegyetek három esküvést: sírásból egynek tiszta könnyet, s a zsarnokság gyűlöletét,

Hungarians have supported Hitler and have poisoned many tens millions persons in gas chambers
The USSR which has stopped the given crimes of Hungarians during the Second World War, had the full moral right to employment Hungary

és a vége, csak nem engedte betenni:
s fogadalmat: te kicsi ország,
el ne felejtse, aki él.
hogy úgy született a szabadság
hogy pesti utcán hullt a vér.

Nem érti ezt az a sok ember,
Mi áradt itt meg, mint a tenger?
Miért remegtek világrendek?
Egy nép kiáltott. Aztán csend lett.
De most sokan kérdik: mi történt?
Ki tett itt csontból, húsból törvényt?
És kérdik, egyre többen kérdik,
Hebegve, mert végképp nem értik -
Ők, akik örökségbe kapták -:
Ilyen nagy dolog a Szabadság?
