  • Yes, his Scarlatti was hypnotizing, and was the highest level of musical storytelling.

I just hope that I get my LPs digitized before I depart this world!!!

  • Brilliant, Scarlatti finally getting rep

  • sparkling, dazzling, yet understated at the same time. My god do I love this performance

  • I'm in heaven.

  • I don't know much about classical music nor do i listen to it much but every time i hear good musicians play it gives me a good feeling.

  • Perfect tempo...too slow kills the joy, faster than this kills the melody!:>

  • I love how he plays this. He ususally plays the Scarlatti Sonatas as encores. Love them.

  • Such refine expression.

    Thank you

  • yes. Horowitz was 2 people a showman an imenseley profound artist capable of the nost beautiful rendition of SCHumann ( not easy) and Scarlatti and Clementi. Now a showman?........... No. An absolute Saint of music. an ambassador for real art, real piano playing not fake and sublime poetry. Thankss

  • I absolutely agree with your statement, and you could add the Chopin Mazurka's - nobody played them with more nostalgia, poetry and refinement.
