  • You know, I'm Japanese, but I think no human should make other humans suffer to this level. Also, I hate the fact that they try to cover everything up and say that they did nothing wrong. Even if the Nazis and the Japanese did all this shit, it doesn't matter now because the Nazis are dead, and the Japanese have sworn to never again go to war. So if we could all calm down and not hate, let us all think about yum yums at Christmas and listen to Justin Bieber. Agreed?

  • i guess this just goes to prove you can't kill the chinese like that

  • Despite the crimes on human being, Japan still argues that they modernized Korea, China and other countries with the constructions such as rail and electricity, etc. which were used to transport vast rescources to Japan for war and controls. Most importannt problem is that they currently TEACH their young generations with this notion. The war crimes survived including Emperor system and they think they DID NOTHING WRONG.

  • The Nazi's and Japanese should have worked together....

  • japanese said that the america was a barbarian...

IN FACT THEY ARE THE BARBARIAN !

  • 4) Furthermore, because of the intrinsic geological condition of Japan, not to let appearances fool you, another earthquake-tsunami is imminent, not a question of “if” it happens but “when”. Keep this in mind.

  • 3) Choose another tour destination because the radiation level is still high around Japan and the Japanese government is not forthright about the severity of the nuclear accident. If you must go for business or work, don’t forget to bring your daily dose of iodine pills, and drink bottled water only because tap water is contaminated by radiation; good luck.

  • 2) Don’t marry a Japanese person; if you do, try not to have any children because they are carrying a radiation mutated gene, resulting from the two well deserved American A-bombs dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki to force a quick surrender of Japan ending WWII, and the recent earthquake-tsunami triggered nuclear accident at Fukushima.

  • TRUTH ABOUT JAPAN:

    1) Don’t buy Japan’s cancer causing radiation polluted products, especially food. The Japanese government lied about the safety of their exported food products.

  • This is one time that I will say that I am embarrassed at what my country did, I mean dealing with the Japanese for some of the information they attained in their germ warfare experiments. Ishi, and all of his subordinates, should have been prosecuted in a military court for war crimes. I am also disappointed that war criminal Hirohito was not prosecuted as well.

  • Poor documentary academically speaking.Japanese atrocities correct but used many pictures not connected with narration.American spokesperson gave statements with little corroborating evidence as to US negotiations to prevent Russian involvement.Needed US response.

  • @germanyforever40 I agree, we always hear about how bad the Nazis were then Japs are treated like the victims of WW2. We should have dropped a hundred Atomic bombs on them. Also unlike the Germans very few Japanese were tried for war crimes.

  • @aqinthe Japanese to this day refuse to apologize for the mistreatment of POW's and are rewriting history to make themselves seem like the victim of WW2. At least the Germans acknowledged the things they did, which makes them more honorable than the Japanese

  • @MrMike3865 I totally agree. Most of the blame for the Japanese from unit 731 not being tried for war crimes lays on MacArthur. In exchange for information from unit 731 they got imunity.

  • @MrMike3865 bah, two completely different cultures at work here, the japanese would never consider apologizing, as they would lose face. they have spent 100's of years serving the emperor whereas the germans were brainwashed over a short period of time to believe the jews were the source of the countries problems.

  • @GS315ish Yeah, the Japanese didn't care about anything but "losing face" not even the suffering of their own people by continuing the war even though the civillians were being killed in the thousands in bombing raids. The great leaders of the nation turned a blind eye to the suffering of these civillians, just so they wouldn't "lose face".The Emperor was a war criminal, and I don't think I would have liked to live in that culture

  • @MrMike3865 exactly, and yeah that is just my opinion but they seem to prove it time and time again. every war they have gone into has been under false pretenses, the public wanted nothing to do with ww2, Vietnam, Afghanistan/Iraq, until their sovereignty was threatened by these "evil" countries and then it turns out they either knew about an attack coming(Pearl Harbour), or falsified information to enter a war they had no business being in (Vietnam, Iraq/Afghanistan).

  • @GS315ish I don't believe in conspiracy theories that cannot be proved historically, that only exist in your mind and others who believe in these imaginary things. This is where we part company...

  • @MrMike3865 there is a difference between a conspiracy theory and a proven conspiracy. are you unaware of the falsified information regarding the vietnam war? also as far as I was aware it was found out that Iraq didn't have any WMD's which was the supposed reason for entering their country in the first place, after the Taliban attacked America. Do you deny the fact that Iraq is not in Afghanistan and we shouldn't really have gone there in the first place?

  • @GS315ish Iraq did have WMDs Saddam used chemical weapons in Kurdistan. Chemical weapons are WMDs so iraq did have them. Besides Saddam was a cunt who worked his mouth too much he wanted his arse kicking. I fought in that war and lost freinds there and I'd go back and do it again in a heartbeat because Saddam was a cunt who is better off dead. Fuck all pacifists who have never had the balls to serve they have no place talking about it.

  • @MrMike3865 who do you think is the worst of the lot of them, that's right, America. Throughout all of these wars who are the ones that muscle their way in, and take all of this data, along with the scientists that did the research. "for the safety of america" yeah fuckin right, as soon as they could, they would use it on any and every country they deem as a threat. and whoever tries to stop them will get a nuke or 10.

  • @GS315ish Well, I don't think America is the worst of all nations, that is your opinion. As far as trading the information for immunity for the criminals who inflicted this suffering on human guinea pigs, I do not agree with. I do believe that the war criminals at unit 731 should have been tried and hung.

  • @aqinthe Are you completely insane? Do you think the Japanese public were aware of this? Were they not completely cooperative in the aftermath of the war? You are a hypocrite moron.

The people to blame for this are the US, for letting the Japanese get away with these crimes in exchange for information on germ warfare. The US could have brough them to justice and didn't.

  • @nicck First of all If you read one of my other comments on this page I blame McArthur for giving imunity in exchange for info from unit 731. You must have missed that post by me.

Many Japanese were involved in war crimes. Have you ever heard of the rape of Nanking, Bataan death march? The Japanese were almost as bad as the Nazis but very few had to answer for their crimes and Japan still ignores what it did. Even when Unit 731 became public there was no outrage from the Japanese public.

  • @aqinthe I've read about most if not all the crimes. Frankly, I just find it ridiculous that you use that as an argument to "Drop 100 atomic bombs on them".

Tell me, why is fire bombing not met with outrage in the US? Or the use of atomic weapons on a civilian majority? (A pretty big majority I might add). Do you know of the rape of Okinawa?

  • @nicck Ok maybe that was a little harsh. I will admit that. Actually only a very small portion of Japan and a very small percent of the population was affected by dropping the atomic bombs. Not a big majority of the population like you claim. Japan was left in a much better condition after the war than Germany was. Yes I have heard of the Rape of Okinawa. And yes those incidents are bad, but they involve a dozen or so serviceman. I can't believe you are comparing that to Unit 731.

  • @aqinthe I was saying that the victims of the nuclear detonations were a civilian majority, by a huge margin. It was an attack to put terror into the Japanese, not for any strategic military reason.

  • @nicck Ok. I wasn't sure of the point you were trying to make. Yes they were to put terror into the Japanese people so they would surrender and a full scale invasion would not have to happen.

  • @aqinthe Evidence overwhelmingly suggests that Japan had already decided it was time to surrender since the Russians entered Manchuria. The Bombs hastened the process, but didn't begin it.

  • @nicck How ever you feel about Japan don't you think what they did in WW 2 was wrong and don't you think an apology is in order? Instead of just ignoring it and "sweeping it under the rug".

  • @aqinthe An apology won't bring anyone back. Hirohito wanted to apologise but was refused by none other than McArthur himself.

  • @nicck I am disgusted with the U.S. and McArthur for cutting a deal with the Japanese. But everyone is taught about the Nazis, but the Japanese have been given a free pass. I never learned about Unit 731 or the Rape of Nanking untill I got out of school. Oh and comparing the rape of Okinawa to the Rape of Nanking and to Unit 731 was just dumb. Not saying you are dumb, just the comparison was way off.

  • @aqinthe I'm not comparing, I'm saying all nations have the capacity to do these acts. You have a few bad people making a nation look like a monstrosity in Japan...and then you say we should have nuked them 100 times, which would be the biggest genocide and mass murder in the world's history. How was that meant to look?

  • @nicck The fact is there was no outrage by the Japanese people during or after the war. It was meant that we should have been much harder on them. Even you have to admit that they got off alot easier than Germany did after the war. Almost all of the German cities were destroyed, the country was split up. I don't know about you but in school I was taught about the Nazis and how bad we were for droping the bombs on Japan. I didn't learn about the Japanese atrocitys in school.

  • @aqinthe The reason you aren't taught about Japanese atrocities is likely because of how graphic they were. Rape, cutting unborn babies out of women's stomachs, surgery without aesthetic, germ warfare testing. How is a teacher going to describe that? In Germany they just "gassed them" or "shot them". Japan wasn't systematic, it was brutal - I don't see how you're going to explain that to a child. Plus, let's not forget that Japan is now a strategic ally of the US.

  • @nicck They could have just said experimented on people and killed alot of people in China. I think it comes down to not wanting to come off as racist. Germans are white so you can say any thing about them. But if you criticize Japan you could come off a racist to some people. Germany is also a strategic ally. We have some huge bases and military hospitals in Germany. I don't just go around bashing Japan. I enjoy military history.

  • @aqinthe Nicely said.

  • @nicck And please explain how I am a hyprocrite.

  • @germanyforever40 Excellent call my friend!

  • Well, the fact that the British Empire lasted for hundreds of years, and the Japanese empire lasted a dozen or so should answer that for you. Also, look at how many countries English is spoken in, compared to Japanese, look at how the English are perceived compard to the Japanese.
