hey i bouth a numark dj pro but my question is the software the is in the box is only good for 20 days did u had the same problem? did u had to buy the full version plz help waht should i do??

@vago4ever The software mine came with was Virtual DJ LE. I havent had anyproblems with it only lasting 20 days. Are you sure you activated the right version or something like that?

Nice, got it yesterday, had a few probs with leads and connectors etc, then finished work today got home and still not managed to sort the configuration etc up.....got Traktor Pro, had either no sound, sound from laptop, or same sound from speakers and phones, was about to start going Arthur Fowler on it, just finally got it sorted in the last half hour or so, gonna try and mix and record a couple tracks, nowt fancy, just to check it all working.....day off tomorrow so i gonna have a proper go

Hahahahaha, this mix is fuckin great mate! I used to play on a mates technics and x-fader set-up about 20 years ago, was always shit at it, then a few months ago got hold of vdj and been playng on me laptop with mp3's, been looking at controllers, and this vid has been the clincher for me, ust about to order one of these! Thanks! haha, just practising still, yeah ;)

@Toxicate8 Those are just some little bose speakers, I just use them as volume controle for my big setuop off screen, two 6" and four 10" subs :)

@pandabear1993 Yes i can and do! Il use it with accapella tracks and buld the song on the loop banks or throw drums in live songs or something.

@hourglassx50 Thanks! I would recommend it if you are just starting out Its pretty basic. The built in soundcard is nice though. Numark has alot of nice starting controllers. A newer version of the Mixtrack Pro just came out with an iPod dock if you would use that but the Mixtrack pro is pretty nice!

Are you a CJ?

Are Numark Mixtrack DJs across the world made up of just bedroom Computer Jockeys (CJ's), CJing in their bedrooms and uploading Video's of themselves on Youtube.

When you actually Gig a (ie: friends) party make a Video with people dancing and be the first to upload that Video onto Youtube as it'd be better than watching wannabe bedroom CJs, CJing on their PC.

CJ = LOSER. You could mix Music Video's and be a VJ.

I just dont have time to edit my vids between building websites, promoting, DJing and the likes. So Im sorry i cant afford 2 techs and a rane mixer yet.

@DjL3rK Try customise your Mixtrack to be exactly like two CDJ's:

1. Go to first beat- auto cue on a CDJ.

2. Jog Wheel Loop in/out/move- hold Loop button turn Jog Wheel on a CDJ.

3. Cue Block Select- Select Cue Blocks and have access to 42 Cues on a CDJ.

Then it'd be like owning two CDJ's, I also like to map a Transitions Button for VJing seperate to the mixer so I can VJ Transition Video's before or after I mix the audio component of the Music Video's.

@ilav1m8y Trust me, If i could, I would. But I cant map in the LE version and i cant buy new software. Lemme do my own thing. I'm not you. Im not a VJ im not a fan of CDJ. I like vinyl. but untill I can afford it I'm gonna use the mixtrack pro and get the most out of it. If i wanted to know how to map it into CDJs i would have asked. thanks for the feedback though. Using an interface, vinyl or CDJ are all completly diffrent.
