  • This prop was from the set of "Star Trek: First Contact?" Dude, build a display case and make sure the batteries are taken out when you're done playing with it. That's something I'd never part with!

  • @Frost3784

It was a commercial collector product for sale to the public from eFX., but I have a case for it anyways. :)

  • Is there anything out there that would help someone like me who doesn't understand circuit electronics how to make one of these?

  • @mkoujak1

This was a commerically produced product. But lighting kits do exist for tric kits you can build yourself, Look to join Trek Prop Zone forum or Replica Prop Forum to learn more.

  • OMFG

    1) I WANT ONE

    2) i bet it eats batteries sooo fast. xD

  • that is so awesome!

  • Are you taking orders?

  • @mockhazzard

These sold out at Master Replicas and it's predecessor eFX quite some time ago.

  • As I'd hoped, thanks.

I might pick one up later on.

  • Is the silver casing metal or plastic, heavy or lightweight?

Very impressive, thanks for showing us ;-)

  • @RobotOnLine

    Metal and heavy. :)

  • No, it;s like most commercial products in that regard, not sure if it can be disassembled further to expose them.

  • man i cant wait to get mine next week but my question is when you put the batteries in are the electronics exposed as i have not been able to find pics of the insides
