Baseballs' around in India for almost 20 years now but guys are getting serious about the the sport now.

these guys are going to make baseball a real popularity in India as if it were the King sport of India. Main sport is cricket. But these guys may lead to getting so manny untaped players and make this the next pipeline of players out the next Dominican Republic.

It is far too soon to say one way or the other, but India has the potential to produce far more players than the DR. They don't have a baseball tradition, but they do have a cricket tradition, which could hasten their understanding of baseball. India has a HUGE population with many good athletes. Build some baseball academies like they have in the DR and India might produce a bunch of players in 20 years. I'm not putting down DR baseball at all, just saying has the potential to be better.

Simply from a probabilistic standpoint, sure. Your population itself is several factors of magnitude larger than DR, so obviously the potential is there.

I'm not from India, so not my population. I was just saying "potential", but the odds of such a thing happening are slim. The key would be having a bunch of Dominican style baseball academies located in super-poor areas.
