  • I would love to get this on CD, once had the clube reggae albums Vols1,2 and 3 I know there is a Club reggae compilation available but this and one or two other great club reggae tracks are not on it, any ideas welcome, ps still enjoy listening to old reggae classics like Guilty by Tiger, Impossible love by Honey Boy and She Caught the Train. Cheers

  • Very sweet Tune!!!

  • i felt on my feet yesterday its hurting but this really heals the pain

  • Dig this tune, i got the 7"-

  • The very album in which I first heard this song as a youth,

and a song that touches the very fiber of my soul to this day.

As sweet as they always were,

The Gaylads NEVER, EVER got sweeter than this.

A BOSS Soul Beat production! A Roots Dynamic staple!

A feeling I could NEVER hide... from anyone!

    So sayeth The Roots Warrior!

    > DADDY LION CHANDELL, Roots Dynamic Soundsystem

  • i love u for posting that - that is the most romantic song ever written

  • i'm only 24 but even i have to say they don't make music like this anymore. Powerful tune.

  • Frst on the Pama label owned by the Palmer brothers who had the Club West Indies in Harlsden NW London.Think I was the only member who was white, not that it mattered as I got a warm welcome from everyone.good times.

  • the gaylads cant hide the feeling is the answer. . . the question ? name any song your likely to hear at house party in brooklyn

  • you have a fantastic collection of good music from my younger days....i have many of these on vinyl myself, they don't make them like this anymore!!

  • All time fave....oh the memories!!

  • :-)

  • wot!!! no stop making love some one out there must have some vinyl of this classic track

  • @allthereds Sold my collection that mainly has been sold on to Japan,One condition was the buyer to transcribe all to CD,so like a hooker-you got it ,you sell it,you still got it,nice as at this years xmas house party there was not dozens of 45s to put away when having a hedgehog head!Got most of my 45s from Randys record shop in Orange Street Kingston JA in the 60s

  • They were called the Gaylads because the record label objected to thier original name The Batty Boys. B.B Seaton was so incensed by this decision that he refused to sleep with anyone from Trojan records for months. The follow up to this great hit, 'I love getting it up my love tunnel', was shelved and never released. Copies of this track have been known to command sums of £1000 and more on ebay.

  • Lollllllllll! I have 5 copys of 'I love getting it up my love tunnel' you can buy a mint copy of me if you like for 5 bills haha. Double your money! :)

  • There is a great dub on the B side of the single of this track called 'Can't hide the salami'

Glad I made you smile JD

Love and peace and keep the faith

  • has it got the orignal protective cover? if so please forward pronto

  • this all makes sense and brought about the well received track stop making love ithought the lyrics was "beside me" but it it could have been"behind me" still a classic though

  • Ok we need someone out there to post this lost classic 'Stop making love'

Getting back to 'Can't hide the feeling' some renditions are credited to Rupie Edwards but I asked Rupie, last year, if he ever released this title himself and his response was that it was simply an error made by the record company.

Check out my short film 'The beat recorded live at Southsea pier' for some great memories

    Merry Christmas

    Many thanks

  • well its good to see out there some one seems to know what they are talking about will check out your film have you everyou tubed the dualers 2 brothers from croydon the beat still goes on and on
