@joshplague You name it and I've used it - Pages (Mac), MS Word, MS Publisher, PowerPoint, Picasa, every Adobe Product. Most than half of my books have been full-bleed single-image-per-page, so I've used Pages and published to PDF. I prefer full-bleed single images because it features the images in a bold way and it's EASY :)
Wooooohhh!!! can I also put in my share of question for one of your question-of-the-day vids? Mirrorless cams like the Nikon 1 and Sony Alpha NEX series are such hot cams. Leigh, in your opinion, do you think that it's just a matter of time when big DSLRs would go the way of the dinosaurs? On a long term basis do you think it's still worth investing money on a DSLR? Tnx so much for your help.
@8javed I don't have a crystal ball... but I know that I have not bought my last DSLR. :) DSLR's are proven systems have have the most options, accessories, and flexibility that you can buy.
@TheSnapChick Tnx so much, Leigh. Wooohhh!!! what a relief coz anytime this week I expect to get my new Nikon D3100! And remember, Leigh, it was really your vid on the Nikon D3100 that convinced me to buy the D3100 over other models that I previously had in mind. I know I'm going to enjoy my D3100 just as much as you do. Tnk u so much again, Leigh. You're a blessing.
Thanks for the tip - when I get my T1i soon, I'm going to take lots of pictures of my father and make a book so that I'll always have that the rest of my life :) Will they send them to you in Canada??
@mikeschmeee I seriously thought I was going to spend the rest of my life making handmade books (which are cool in their own way) until I found the magazine site.
@mikeschmeee They do make me feel like a real artist... a pile of paper, some glue and other bits... become a book. I keep a small blank ones around for writing notes in, etc... It's fun to mix up a bunch of different colored paper or ones with light designs on them, and make a little blank book out of them :)
DUDE thanks- currently im ARCHIVEing an entire body of my FATHERS work 70 to now and when im done i didnt know what to do with -em THANKS SNAPCHICK- oh yah your SMOKIN hot!!!
@D4GG312 When you order a magazine, you will definitely see how much fun these are. It's literally like any magazine you would buy or get in the mail (except the pages are a tiny bit thicker on higher quality paper) except is has your shots (or your father's) in them. Would I pay more than they charge? Yes I would.
You're such a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiggg help to the world of photography. Thank you for generously sharing with us all your knowledge and wisdom of photography. My gosh! if I had to learn all that you're teaching in a photography workshop it's gonna cost me big bucks; and I might have to put up with supposedly photo "experts" who're not half as fun as you. Hmmm...
@8javed I try to convey my experiences in interesting ways. I want to keep these question-of-the-day videos even shorter than this one... but I guess I like to talk a little bit and have fun with it :)
Where do u buy your cameras from? I happened to find a website that sells cameras for at least 100 bucks less than other stores like best buy or any other stores. Can you please let me know so that i can explore more.
I like all the videos you make, but what is it with your "Camera fall In the water" thing?...first i thought...damnnn...and NOPE..thats cheating....and think u are better off with the knowledge skills and looks....please don dissapoint me with your fake videos once in a while
Thank you so much I'm the photographer for my son's hockey team and I've been looking for a book to put all the photos in but they're so expensive this looks great thanks again
@mikeswazey At 20 cents a page, they are cheaper than any other solution I have found, the quality is great (as good or better than magazines you would buy in the store), and people LOVE to have their own magazine!

@TheSnapChick I think the handmade books are really neat as well. Completely custom is always cool.

@nirwanaification I typically use Amazon or B&H. If you see very low prices, they are often scams. Do research on any retailer before you buy.

@nirwanaification I enjoy making the "camera mishap" videos. It is a fun diversion for me. You will simply have to be disappointed.
