@Nater36 I do.. friend has a top fuel dragster.. I bust his chops all the time.. he just changed his personal car into auto too for the drag strip but I think it has a slap shifter... Once you start going so fast at the dragstrip it gets hard to shift at the same rpm everytime.. On a pro car they hard to launch get traction. On a denali with 4wd doesnt spin tires you really just stall as high as you can and let go of brake and floor it... Im not knocking the pros.. really just busting chops
ok so the camaro was faster, who gives a shit. it may have been a bad run but the driver sucks. if it was a spin, should of known not to rev up so high. if it was a bad shift, should of practiced. if it was just late, should of been watching the tree instead of looking at the black beast in the other lane. you could have the best car on the track but if you cant drive it, your going to lose. and last but not least, i love GM. both vehicles are amazing
@comatone1982 None, the motor has not even been touched besides adding the procharger, stock heads, stock bottom end, stock cam, stock intake manifold etc..
Camaro lost it and spun bad or bogged off the line... Camaro's trap speed goes with a low 12's car (high 11's with stickies car), not a mid 13's car... but the Camaro got it back together and caught back up and still won the race with a 13.34 vs Denali's 13.57 sec. time...

But yes the denali won because his reaction time was half a second quicker yet only lost by 2 tenths. So in reality it took the denali 13.797 seconds to get to the traps once the light turned green. Yet the Camaro took 14.113 seconds. I've one races this way too, beat a mustang by a couple tenths on RT, yet he ran .04 seconds quicker than me. Actually I have the race on here lol
You could sit there for a whole minute, your time doesn't start until you take off. From when the camaro took off to when it crossed the finish line was faster than the denali's start to finish time. It was just later that's all.

Yes. Because of the way the timing lights are set up the 7.73 actually means .773 second reaction time. Move the decimal point one place to the left.
