  • Be that as it may, it is the Assyrian name he promotes by carrying the name Sanharib.

  • Tihe u gaboro, an Assyrian king.

    Tihe Sanharib.

  • Please don't speak nonsense...Sanharib Malki is a proud Aramean. Search by Youtube and you will see "Malki Sabah Germinal Beerschot Antwerp GBA".

Sanharib Malki say: "I want to promote the reputation of the Arameans, I'm proud of my people."

  • @Aramean1

It's true that he said that but his parents are obviously Assyrian, since they named him SANHARIB! Sanharib Malki is probably just brainwashed by the so called "Arameans" who are in fact Assyrians since Suroyo/Suraya are derived from Assurayu.

Ironically the real Arameans are the Syrian "Arabs", not the Suryoyo who are Assyrian. When they became muslim they changed identity of course, though the few christian ones left in Maloula still calls themselves arameans.

  • @Roma10Totti10Roma This funny story I didn't have heard before. What is your source? That brainwashed Asirians are all talking with difference storys. The history of our Aramean people and our Syrian-Orthodox church is written (with facts!) and you can't change that. Get first education before you speak. Visit the website of the Aramean Democratic Organisation and search "Evidences of our Aramean origin" where you can see what our ancestors have write about our history.

  • @Aramean1

My source about Syrian Arab being arameans are studies about Population Genetics. Assyrians, wether they are from Iraq or Tur Abdin cluster very close to each other on a PCA-plot and not with Syrians. Anyone with a little bit of knowledge in history nows that most of todays arabs are not actually ethnic arabs, but just arabised. That's why they don't match well in genetic tests with ethnic arabs from the Arabian Peninsula.

  • @Roma10Totti10Roma...I asking source that you can trust for 100% and that is related with our history. Not kind of that selfmade/created source like that you are telling about. The old-Assyrians of the Assyrian Empire are not exist for long time ago before 605 BC. Aftel the fall of Assyria they where assimilated by other people and we didn't have heard somebody anymore about them.

  • @Aramean1

Our Syrian Orthodox Church was officially known as Assyrian in Diaspora until 1952 when our patriarch Aprim Barsoum suddenly "changed" our identity after a little trip to Syria...I wonder what happend there! You see the first Assyrian immigrants to America came in early 20th century in Worchester and they even built a Syrian Orthodox Church called "Assyrian Orthodox Church" there. They didn't know anything about "Arameans", they were ASSYRIANS!

  • @Roma10Totti10Roma.. That brainwashed people can called their church like they wants. But the Syrian-Orthodox church is the oldest/first Christian church of the world. Give me only answer of this question: How is it possible that we didn't have heard something about Assyrians from the time 605 BC until 19th century? The 19th century was the year where the Angilican missionary have brainwashed a part of oiur people to call themself "Assyrians". The Assyrian name was reborn.

  • @Aramean1

What? Are you kidding me or what? The Assyrians have been mentioned several times after the fall of the Assyrian empire. Especially by the Persians who were very Assyrianized. Darius/Cyrus even mentioned how he had Assyrian slaves who carried cedar from Lebanon to him. And have you heard of Lucian and Tatian the Assyrians? Have you seen the findings in Tur Abdin of the Akkadian names AFTER CHRIST? Names like Nergol-Dammar? Abed-Shames?

  • @Aramean1

The source I gave you had many quotes which proves Assyrian continuation, even from our own people, like Mor Michael Rabo. He even says that the people east of Eufrat (Tur Abdin, Iraq) is of Assyrian origin while the other part in the West (Syria) is of other origin when he replies to the greeks who offended his people.

You are too ignorant to take these evidence in to your head, since you refuse to take anything in which doesn't fit in to your Anti-Assyrian agenda!

  • @Roma10Totti10Roma...I knew that that you don't (deny) answer my question. I have heard more of this selfmade storys without source/facts from brainwashed Assyrians. Do you wants to know better about that brainwashed people that you also support? Search by Google with the next words: "Assyrians monstrous covenant between the PKK". This are Assyrians: MURDERERS(terrorists), TRAITORS. MANIPULATORS and LIARS. Is this the people where you are so proud of it? This are 100% hard facts with a source!!!

  • @Aramean1

In what way didn't I answer your question?

And about the article, how am I supposed to take it seriously when they state stuff like this " The Catholic missionaries forced the Aramaeans who accepted them to believe that they are Chaldaean; and the Anglican missionaries forced the Aramaeans who accepted them to believe that they are Assyrian."

Seriously? For real? Muslim author too who wrote the article? Source was apparently a kurdish newspaper called "Berxwedan"?
