@john62869 They also do a mid controls version of the same bike ,its a choice you make when you buy it fron or mid controls.

@ScoobySteveD Does the insurance cover head injuries in the US if you have an accident without a helmet, even if there is no helmet law where you live? Because here in Holland you're fucked if the police sees you without a helmet or a non approved helmet, and insurance won't cover anything!!

I'm thinking about getting a Fatbob and you make it look very tempting.

However the weather in the UK just doesn't run well with the cruising image.

It's more likely to be 10 degrees C & raining on the M60 (Manchester orbital motorway) not 30C. A new Bob here is $20,000! + $1000 to insure it.

But I'm still tempted - what to do... eh?

@biggpopa72 Im 6'00 275lbs and have a Fat Bob (FXDF) Bike works great form myself. But there are some big differences with it to the Fat Boy. Test ride both and see what works for yourself. Then enjoy. Also get all the extras with the bike you want. Trust me it's cheeper than a one peice at a time add-on type of thing. Regards:

Yeh Florida Law allows this if you have $10K of insurance or over.
