I was a bit too young for his Bad tour, but he never toured in the US (aside from Hawaii) after that. I feel had he toured in the US I would have seen him. I wish I'd been a more adamant 7 year old though and demanded to see him during Bad, or rich enough to travel to see him, but I wasn't. All I do know about watching him at concerts is he dominated, shined, glided and commanded with brilliant elegance and panache. What an amazing artist.

I was a little kid then, and I remember going to a Billy Graham crusade and across the way at a stadium was Michael Jackson. You could hear them cheering, and at the crusade they were like, "let's hear you cheer for God so loud they hear you at the concert!"

Looking back, it's like yeah ... right. And MJ had a bad rap because of Thriller from Christians. I'm still a Christian, but MJ's music is so positive and not full of cussing. They should of supported him more.

Something that was incredible about Michael Jackson... He was able to appeal to everyone... Kids and Parents a like. Nowadays you got fuckin' Kanye West who is such a douche but only kids like him (teens-college students) and parents hate him. Michael Jackson is 1 in a trillion, we may never see another like him ever again.... However, Jimmy Carter said the same thing about Elvis and just a few years later Michael broke that.

I have The Jacksons Victory album from 1984 on picture disc and it has never been played, or even opened from it's plastic sleeve. The first single to be aired was "State Of Shock." I still remember hearing it for the first time in my parent's car at 14 on my way to school.
