@Tornadostorm18...my 'Stang is running 12.3 in the quarter at 123 and 8.2 in the 1/8th at 92 on STREET tires...just Michelin 275 pilot sport PS2's. That's with lots of wheelspin and virtually no launch. With some rubber it will be elevens for sure.

@tornadostorm18 They're not that great in comparison to what? Ferarris? Corvettes? Porches? Yeah the older Mustangs had a hard time holding their own against F-bodies and other cars in their class but the '11 5.0 is putting an end to that. Ford finally stepped up their game on the Mustangs and made them worthwhile straight from the factory (unlike previous years that needed mods to keep up with stock f-bodies).

Ford (for some crazy reason) left a lot to be desired with all of their late model Mustang (2011 model excluded) and some of their classic models. Mod for mod, the Mustang always has a disadvantage against other pony cars. Before 2011, the only fast Mustangs were the Terminators (03/04 w/ 390bhp) and the Saleens (05 w/ 550bph). Everything else leaves a lot to be desired.

BUT the guy in auto zone with a v6 talking shit about my car sucks and his buddies 03 mustang would rape me obviously is just smoking some thing bad.
