  • nice one tire fire

  • i woulda thought all GTOs had a posi

  • Enough said Camera Guy.

  • One weely peely! Lol Nice car eitther way.

  • they did,,,g8 gt,no one bought 'em..I did

  • wheres the posi???

  • Peglegging????? I thought it was a GTO????? Maybe a GTO Lemans or Tepest clone???

  • Yes they use aluminum now and sheet metal which is so thin as soon as you get in an accident you will fold. Don't let one of these cars hit you because the newer cars will be totaled and not even a dent will show on this car.

  • i freakn want one!

  • Pegleg! Nice Car!

  • lol when i get older im gonna create a car companie that makes these cars (bodies) and make the frame suspension engine interior work and be as reliable as fuel injenction and comfortable as a newer car if i did this would you buy them?

  • beautiful car

  • GTO? NO Positive Trac? that is a really nice car tho!

  • Nice car, If you need a bulletproof maddogtransmission let me know. I will also stand behind it with a one-year unlimited mile warranty. Thanks MaddogLou.

  • I own 9 of these. My Penis is massive and i'm doing your mom..... oooohhhh yyyeeeaaaahhhhh!!!

  • @pusshead80 Your on the wrong site loser!!!

  • nice i love that mid sixties gto/nova bodystyle

  • Cool!

Have you heard the new 1967 GTO song by Bad City? "Take Me For A Ride"

  • man that a bad as car

  • Nice car, but what's with all the clicking and popping in the video?

  • You need a locker.

  • WEAK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Not a GTO. Either a Lemans or Tempest. ALL real GTO's came with Tracloc (posi).

  • @donnerpasser

or its 43years old and the clutchs dont grab anymore.

  • lol real burn outs come from different rear ends lol

  • definitely needs a posi, this is a stupid burnout

  • That is a lemans

  • what a beast!!!

  • oh God.. what a sound! anyway piece of metal shit. love it! :D

  • its a one wheel wonder!!!!

  • sedans have a post.worth more money.less made.

  • Is a '67 GTO supposed to have that pillar?

  • @carsismeZ06 Nope, this is definitely a LeMans, No GTO here

  • @carsismeZ06

It's called a post-coupe, or how the official name is.. Sport Coupe. Not as many made as the hardtops, and I don't think as desirable but I like them better. Stiffer body and frame, more built for racing.

  • Thats Kinda Weak......and the dude takein the video makes it sound like he just laid a quarter miler!!! LOL

  • the goat aint happy to day

  • lyden2006 I agree.replace or rebuild with 373 or 390's

  • posi needs rebuilt..

  • It doesnt even have Posi!!!!

  • He needs to buy a posi unit...

  • @keepthapinit Yes, then I would be impressed with the burnout!

  • i love pontiacs!! i mean ive never been in a 67 or any of the gtos or old ones, but my dad owns a bonneville 88, which i love!! hope i can get from him and fix it up, but idk were to get parts for it and they cant find insurance for it either.... =^[

  • I used to have one like that with illegal glass packs that my cousin put on the exhaust system. I sold it after my 1st wife blew the clutch on it 3 times and also the manifold exhaust gasket was shot and brake master cylinder went too on my way to the beach once.

  • He coulda kept it going through 2nd and 3rd (automatic) especially on a "peg leg" Any healthy GTO can do specatular burnouts without working it too hard!

  • i think its a mechanical injustice to have an open diff on a car like that. weld that bitch up or stuff a ltd slip in

  • You gotta get the POSI rebuilt on that beast, or safety track.

  • sorta fell on its face when it shifted into 2nd

  • hahahah one tire fire.

  • Engine was hardly breakin' a sweat. Nice.

  • car sounds good. Is that tyrol blue? my goat suppose to be that color when I finish with it

  • engine sounds BEAUTIFUL!!!!!

  • My motorcycle burns out with only one tire too!

  • get a posi!

  • why the fuck dont they make cars like that anymore!?!!?

  • @VladBlok28 becuase americas too cheap

  • @VladBlok28 long explanation, but basically, the government wont let them.....

  • @GitRdone3454 the government sucks!

  • @VladBlok28 tell me about it, but thats why we restore cars like this.

  • @VladBlok28 the government told them they can't.

Everything is regulated by the government now, thanks to all the idiots who repeatedly voted for the democrats/union power/more government control

  • @beepandbop

Weren't the emissions standards imposed under Nixon, and gov. Reagan?

Wasn't the GTO, Mustang etc. build by union workers in the USA?

These cars aren't built anymore, because most people wouldn't buy them.

I love GTOs, but I also love anti-lock brakes, safety restraints and airbag!

  • @KWY007 not quite. First emissions standards were imposed in 1966 (Clean Air Act), I don't have an encyclopedia on me, but I believe the GTO had some emissions gear on it in 1965!! Either way, Lyndon Baines Johnson government was responsible for that. Not that that is wrong, it needed to happen, and I wasn't criticizing that. I was referring to the banal requirements of how headlights should be made, where they should be made, required airbags etc.

Nixon was hardly a free market proponent.

  • @beepandbop

I was referring to the creation of two agencies that originated and enforced regulations leading to what we have now: The California Air Resources Board in 1967 under Gov. Reagan and the EPA created in 1970 by Nixon, both Republicans.

    I like my airbag!

  • @KWY007 also, you mention unions....well unions are the reason why cars like the Corvette and Toyota Camry are now being manufactured in Kentucky.

The unions + piss poor auto company management killed the golden age of the U.S. car industry.

The unions always were run by pragmatic and greedy men while the management of the Big Three (Four--AMC) fell on its face from the 70-80's.

The unions tipped the cow, which then fell on them (and of course they blamed those evil capitalists).

  • @beepandbop

When management and labor work together, businesses grow. I was a member of a union once, I liked it. Collective bargaining is much better than trying to work out conditions of employment alone with management. Alone you never have the power to affect conditions of employment, when done collectively management HAS to listen, and once in agreement they have to honor contracts.

AMC cratered because management designed lousy cars no one wanted to buy.

  • @VladBlok28 I know right. Now days, they cut down on metal, theres no chrome, no real frames, toyotas frames arent even metal, plastic brake pedals... In the 60s the youth market car was the GTO, today its the Kia Soul or Scion Xb. theres a big difference. Im a 19 year old, with a 66 GTO. Theres far more pride in building a car rather than buying a car. plus 400 hp beats 100hp any day. Not anything for the weak of heart.

  • @GorillaWriter Theres a few "problems" the main one being oil, if the prices werent so high nobody would bother to cut down on anything. Now it's almost irrational to drive a car like a GTO.

Then theres product life cycle. Today people on average buy a new car every 5-6 years, so car makers adjust quality accordingly, unlike before, when cars were built to last. Lower quality means lower prices, lower prices mean you can buy new cars more often etc. Basically too much economy and too little soul

  • @VladBlok28 those are very valid points. Yeah, life was just different back in the day. Im just glad to own a piece of history. New cars obviously wont last. 18 gauge steel wont cut it.

  • @VladBlok28 Because, All Americans are stupid now, and would rather have a fwd Honda accord or awd bmw.

  • @VladBlok28 because now people are all fag.

and want fag car. look at movie music and everything all become fag weak shit.

  • @VladBlok28 i know your comments a year old but for the sake of others. Its because

    1)Clean air act of 1971

    2)Rising gas prices

3)Companies deciding to use cheap materials

  • @VladBlok28 they stop making them because they went make that much profit off them. they used alot of steel to make those now a days its just sheet metal lol but i like the older cars too.

  • @VladBlok28

    because of the Greenies

  • @Fastback91

    yes.

  • @VladBlok28 Brown kids...Thats why...Stinking brown kids.oh and Niggas.

  • @VladBlok28 good thing they dont. That car didnt even have posi track.

  • @VladBlok28 People claim that its because of efficiency, but thats bullshit. My old neighbor, waaaayyyyy back when, had a prototype 65 Chevy that ran close to 40MPH. Only a few of them were ever manufactured, and none were supposed to be sold, how he got his I'll never know, but we laugh about it when I was a kid.(early 90s) He used to laugh at the fact his car got such good MPG, I hope he still has that car....

  • @fullclip16117 that really depends on how you drive it. My car today does close to 40 MPG in strictly short city driving during winter (ie worst imaginable conditions). Does about 50 on open road. I can imagine a less efficient car could improve its MPG significantly if driven gently in good conditions but i wouldnt know. It's an interesting point that they would intentionally make cars less efficient, i'll think about that

  • you mean tire...its a really nice car, but something like that with an open diff...thats just stupid, get a posi

  • Wow it didn't even have to get above like 3k RPMs to blister the tires. Now that's torque.

  • Talk about torque my cutlass has a 260v8 with only 101hp but it will powerbrake posi and walk sideways,it will chirp 2nd gear without a shift kit if I manual shift and 2nd will go up to 80mph without over reving then 3rd will just keep going I slow down after about 110 cause it starts getting scary(springs getting soft)Oh and I outran a ss monte with a 305 it was a little beat down but you gotta remember he has a 3.73 rear end I have highway gears did I mention only 101hp

  • Comment removed

  • Hey....um...i have a 1967 gto.....400 engine....what cam do you got?

I wnat a good, powerful cam and that i still can drive around normal....what cam do u suggest?

I asked summitracing but they never respond.....

  • if you want a your car to be streetable then you shouldn't get a cam for an RPM range TOO high off idle...like maybe a 1500 to 5500 RPM range area

  • That sounds extremely nice, music to my ears.

  • yer the torque of the engine lifts the left putting more of the cars weight on the right tire etc,etc..one wheel burnout to stop u all from whinging

  • wow

  • any naai can do dat kak....suma wit any any car awso

  • just sayin

that the cars torque put the weight on one wheel more then the other my 69' charger does it too

  • ur dumb and a liar its not posse it broke traction and pulled power from the other wheel so u have a wheel with 275lbs and a wheel with 125lbs (if it had 300LBS torque)

  • A the peg-leg. But then again it 's all Detroit iron. Back in the day sometimes dad didn't spring for the posi.

  • One tire fire.....BOOOOOOOO

  • no lsd ftl lol!

  • Yep! It's a fucking black line, FUCKHEAD!

  • that old goat didnt hang around.

  • my cusien n me were doing that n his car

  • Damn

    Its a 1 wheel wonder

  • me dads got a 1969 pontiac gto in the garage does 480 on the back wheels

  • HaHa F'in one wheel squeel

  • Not all GTOs came with posi, that was an option. This car appears to be a true GTO due to correct quarterpanels, rocker mouldings, grilles, hood, tailpanel, and rear bumper. They did make 7,029 post coupe GTOs in 1967 and they should have have the post window trim which this car does not have. Only way to know for sure on 66-71 GTOs is to check the VIN.

  • We owned a '66 GTO with the 389.3-2 bbl, 4-speed drivetrain. Posi, 3.55's (biggest gear with A/C in the day). I learned to drive in that Goat; Too bad my father sold it (I still hold a grudge about that). And really too bad that people are "building" fake GTO's out of Lemans and Tempests and such. Sounded like a single-4 bbl auto. 400 ci, no ? Peace:-)

  • haha invest in LSD

  • yeah, I hear trippin is making a comeback!

  • Holy crap that's got some horse power, able to roll a one wheel wonder for .....40ft?

  • i love gto

  • it doesnt matter whether or not its got the pillar or the peg leg it looks 100 times better than your moms civic

  • well if it is a real gto its a sprot coupe cuz its got that bar behind the windows the normal goats didnt have that bar

  • nice lemans or tempast it doesnt have gto rear quarters a posi and gtos were not post cars

  • that is not true there were 7,029 GTO post Coupes made in 67 they are very rare and more valuable then a standard GTO

  • @assman1974 GTOs were not post cars! Is 1974 when you were born?

  • why no positive traction?

  • nice

  • What is cool is my bro's 67 can do that....

...in ALL 4 GEARS!! Vid comin' as soon as I can get his police officer ass to LET me video it!!! >:-(

  • is it stock?

  • Theres only one tire track probably cause it doesent have a limited slip differential

  • Because it has an open diff. No saf-t-trak. Or the saf-t-trak is not working.

  • No Not godamn, why isnt the other wheel workin? y there no burn mark>

  • My 67 GTO makes a single tire fire, too! It sure is fun!

  • i love my car lol
