After watching the film for the first time in my teens spent in India, I adored this nostalgic, beautiful, soulful and melodious song that I used to listen time and time again. I began to idolised Dev Anand and some of the best songs in my opinion Rafi Ji sang for Dev Anand. Thank you Yuan Ji for re-kindling past memories.

one of my most favourite rafi songs since CHILDHOOD again ! i have always adored this heavenly rafi rendition emanating so much pathos enhanced by the beautiful bansuri bridges . a heartwrenching rafi- majrooh -sd burman -dev anand combination with the beautiful suchitra sen , to give us an immortal melody for all times to come !  thanks yuan for this precious upload !

One of the best of Rafi songs, indeed. And what can one say about Suchitra Sen? Her beauty and talent seem like a distillation of Bengali soil, air and culture.
