@Skycrusher It's to be though that they modified the Z-saber during or after Megaman Zero 2 because in the first Megaman Zero the Z-saber was like in Megaman X series

@ZeroXadvenTz I wonder why they did it? Was it to differentiate the Saber from the X series one and distinguish MMZ series? I'm not sure of many other reasons. It just seems like a response to fan base request/demand/preference. I've never played any of the MMZ games. I stopped at X6.

@Skycrusher The reason why MMZ has a different Saber and different look is because he was drawn by a different artist. However, his MMZ model is suppose to be exactly the same as his MMX model. Zero was given a new body but the same conscious. Due to a one-hundred year long hibernation, his memory was "lost". If you wanna know more, buy the games. MMZ 1-4 is just amazing. If you are a Zero fan, you have to get them and understand the struggles he has gone through.

@Skycrusher X7 and X8 weren't really suppose to happen. X6 wasn't even suppose to have Zero. Capcom just forced him to make it, hence the unexplained reason why Zero was completely fine after that fight with X in X5. Zero was suppose to never be found and his body was "Deactivated". And so begins MMZ one-hundred years later. I bought the collection online a few days ago to play them all again, so that I can appreciate the story a lot more. Know that I'm older lol.

@Skycrusher Actually, X8 isn't all that bad. Plus it's got Mark Gatha voicing X (aka Domon Kasshu, known to those less-versed in anime as the Shining Finger guy) and Master freaking Asia voicing Sigma.

But yeah. The plot's pretty interesting, they actually have a very effective twist near the end, and, well, the gameplay's classic Megaman X fun.

Wily created the copy body and made it different, to be faster and more agile, then took zero's body and put zero in the copy one, giving omega the real body, and then sealed zero in that chamber Ciel finds him in :D

Actually the reason why the armor is different between MMX and MMZ is just because of a take on a different art design. Zero and X always had their "MMX" body according to canon.
