Highly recommend no one gets this phone

the vivaz broke on me 11 times... it was funny because the 11th time i'll admit was me, i threw it at a wall.. due to been so pissed off, the buttons break, the phone overall, shit, texting is shit... battery use.. everything just terrible, worse phone ever.. pure slow.. does what it wants, use to send texts to people in my contacts... weird phone, horrible...

@rtLuka definitely the mini. Although the screen is smaller and the camera is of lesser quality than the vivaz, the mini runs on android, which means you get a ton of apps, much more than symbian, and higher quality too. Also, android is much smoother than symbian. You should try both out. Symbian is less touch friendly in my opinion........

I bought this last July and used it until now...

My phone suddenly unable to connect with the USB,

and all my files (including photos, musics, messages) disappeared !

It's totally EMPTY, like the very 1st time you're using it

battery is pretty good for this type of phone camera is good but they should put shortcut for light instead of searching it in to menu.....

sometimes it is too complicated for use like during driving or similar.....

my gps dosent working anymore it worked until few months but even before it was hard to get gps signal , sound is really bad, i hate playlists very hard to put songs on it and i hate i need every time to unlock phone to adjust volume or change track

camera is one of best i have ever seen on phones

application compatibility same vivaz is much faster have good battery but there is no possibility to change volume or track while phone is locked and bad playlists

DON'T BUY THIS PHONE. Ringing volume very poor when it is in your pocket, vibrate alert is also very poor. Operating system is soooo outdated and seems very slow straight out of the box. Symbian does not suit this phone as there are limited apps that work on this fone. The only saving grace is the camera system. It is decent to say the least but can be quite slow to work at times. Touch interface does seem to lag alot also.

Don't get this phone. Simple, It's a hassle all the time, the keys while composing a text are far too small and far to sensitive. The shutter speed is sooooooo slow, granted it's a good camera and I have no complaints about the quality of the picture. The whole OS is outdated as it's symbian. Far better value for money out now in 2011, Get the ARC if your a sony ericsson fan and can afford it!

Never buy this phone i had this phone for 6 moths and it fucked up me. When i went to bed to charge it and when i got up it did not charge and i when took my charger out the usb slot came out i was pissed of with it. I took to the repair store they sed it would be done in 2 weeks. After 2 weeks they sed they could fix it the mother broad is broken and i did buy another Sony Ericsson agrin So got Nokia N8 better than the Sony Ericsson vivaz.

This phone is pretty cool, the only things wrong with it are the onscreen keyboard is wayyy too small, the sound output is too quiet, it lacks alot of apps/features and the camera has no flash, but it is a really cool compact phone and it takes AMAZING pictures & videos in good light.

@phounpadith yeah that is a problem with the Vivaz when the battery runs out u have to charge it up for about half an hour or so untill u can even turn it on, sometimes u might jus get a white screen, i was hoping this would be fixed with updates but apparently not..., Dont worry ure not the only one jus give it a good charging, if that fails then re-insert the battery.

Got my Vivaz Pro 3 days ago. My Review..

- Its a good phone

- Good camera

- Resistive touch screen (touch it with fingernail make it easier)

- Sound is decent, nokia XM5130 is better

- Battery, after initial charge, i used it a lot to configure all the setting (wifi, themes, profiles, install apps, media, txts, calls etc) still it can reach 2 days, and it can reach max performance after 3-5 charge cycle.

- No lag, no turn off itself

- Worth my money.. USD250, GBP160

I have this phone. Everything the examiner has said about the handset is true. However i must warn you the restive touch screen is very hard to type quickly on, its also quite insensitive. It's a shame because this phone would be a whole lot better is it was capacitive.

It's a bit slow

sometimes you have to double click things

the loading to camera/videorecording takes a bit of time

Sometimes the touchscreen is a bit sluggish

but otherwise its a great phone!
