  • How can anyone blame the trainer? Ask DeLaHoya, Pacquaio, Hopkins or any elite fighter. The trainer offers advice and gives you a gameplan but at the end of it the fighter has to fight. Your trainer cannot help you when you are actually in the ring. If Khan was not ready to be taken on to the next level after 17 fights he never was going to be. The fight against Kotelnik is not a foregone conclusion. Khan will struggle to keep his hands up for 12 rounds and that is where the test lies. his chin.

  • warren vocally takes responsibility for the fight, but he points his finger at the trainer, literally

  • lol, the Halloween ring tone at the end ... ironic cos his performance was horrific too

  • "Amir Khan was surrounded by blissful cheers and glowing sunshine which seemed to be eternal to the young boy wonder. Now as the time grew his career became gritty and bitter from the nerve-sherdding first round demise. It takes alot out of prodigy to go down the way he did. Time has removed the taunting rain which showered on silver medalist and now we are about to witness the transformation of a boy to a man who will become a living legend."

  • what the fuck are you on about you freak hes no living legend

  • daman197, you racist son of a bitch. U cunt and pork eating bastard.

  • emmm BACON BUTTY niceee

  • listen all big starts lose once AMIR KHAN WILL BE BACK AN TRUST ME THIS GUY IS GONA BE A BIG THINK TRUST ME EASY

  • he might be a champ but never a true champ

  • @steveeo1 what the fuck does that even mean you retard??

  • fuck da niger trainer he should of got shot woundnt b surpirsed if hez tryin 2 rob white manz on da street no dayz lol

  • WHAT FUCKS ME OFF ABOUT THIS WEBPAGE.....If something gets on your tits so much DONT WATCH IT. AND if you want to discuss something, WHY YOU GOT TO GET RACIST? Bunch of ignorant wankers.

  • Amir khan got boxed silly lol. Karmas a bitch innit, serves him right for sacking his black trainer. look where it got him.

  • i still think khans got potential, his got the speed and talent to go far but the big dissapointment is his chin

  • what is the name of the song that came on at the end does anyone know

  • seems lil unstable nw...frequent change of trainers..to be honest doesnt really help, thats what hes gat to realise...that chin is some thing that is worrying..we should learn to say things, the way we see it...am not a big fan of khan, but he makes boxing entertaining for fans like myself...and also one more thing wether u like it or not, ethnicity plays a role in boxing...if prescott had lost...the nigga word will rain in frm every angle...so lets show respect to every boxers cuz thy wrk hard.

  • that's why i keep telling u guys that this guy is only good on push over fighters he don't have a good chin.he can't take a punch how much more if he will face tough mexican fighters or pacman himself he will pissed on his shorts. no good

  • come on man his no where near the mexicans , they rule these divisions

  • Think he should train harder get a couple of fights under his belt BEFORE challenging prescott again

  • Khan is young and talented you have to give him some credit, anyway he should have trained with his old trainer rather than a new one i think thats were he came in error

  • "I have every confidence in the trainer" Then why did he fire the guy. Khan is great at excuses and talking a good fight " I will come back stronger etc" but it all sounds hollow to me . He does not have itin him to be a world champion. His standard is at national level. Personally I think Kevin Mitchell would beat him. Boxing is a truth game and Khan's optimistic spin won't help him when he fights at top level. He is living in a dream world and is in denial.

  • frank the plank what a tossa.

  • what the fuck u talkin about "dont worry hell meet presscott again"? this isnt the amateur game if he met presscott again hed get ko'd again. he can train for a million years but his chin will always be the same

  • what the fuck are you talking about gypsie rose lee

  • not really.. manny pacquiao improved his chin.. so did miguel cotto.. its not really the 'chin'.. its more to do with cutting the weight and concentration.. i know from experience because im an amatuer boxer myself..

  • Khan has never had the best attitude but he's still young and still developing. I dont like the guy on a personal level (having met him a couple of times) but i have to say he has got talent and plenty of room to improve.

I hope he's learnt his lesson from fighting Prescott, whom i think Khan could probably never beat in a thousand attempts.

Anyways, good luck to the fella for his next fight.

  • Amir khan has great boxing skills and a great punch but that will only take him so far

because he goes to peices when anyone hits

him with a half decent shot.

I can't see him winning a world title as

a pro boxer against people who can hit him back .

Maybe he could go back to amature boxing

as the olympics don't seem to mind pro cycling

    ,is this allowed ?

He was much better as an amature and a gold medal would be possible .

He's made enough money to retire now so why not?

  • I dont think theres no need to go back to amatures, I mean he's only lost one fight. You dont just give up because you've lost a fight, I mean thats what boxings all about. Theres only 2 people in the ring, someones gotta lose. I personally dont think amir is that great, but if I have a shit day at work, it dont mean I quit my job

  • He can't go back to amateur boxing,if you have more than 4 pro bouts its not allowed.

  • I was stating that he could, i was just replying to someone elses post who said they thought amir should go back to the amatures. To be honest, im not sure on how it works with pro's wanting to go back to abc's

  • If you have more than 4 pro fights, you cant go back amateur

  • lol ok, i didn't say that wasn't true

  • Its funny how some people have come to the conclusion that Prescott didnt deserve to win and Khan is the better fighter. Why didnt Prescot deserve to win? How do you know Khan is the better fighter? No-one knew about Prescott until this fight! What are you baseing this biased comparison on? Or have I just answered my own question? Explain yourselves fan boys! Any real boxing fan knows that all this is just fan boy nonsense and this fight was just anotha more severe example of Khan being exposed.

  • first im female and second i'm basing it on two videos ive seen of prescott fighting where he is very slow and doesnt look that skillful. and also on the obviouse mistake khan made of rushing in. but i never said prescott was crap or anything, i think he's good and he was definately better and faster on the night

  • agree with u there , Im glad khan is ok i thought he was gonna die in the ring , Amir give it up mate u cant come back from this

  • He can.

  • It's a bad loss but Amir has way too much skill, speed and power to be written off over night. Noone complained after he took Earl to pieces inside a round but now everyone is calling him a bum. Get on a fight with Thaxton or Murray and I'm convinced he'll prove he's a class above any British lightweight.

  • I agree, he does need to forgot aboout world level, I think he should concentrate on fighting domestic opponents, Murray and Thaxton are perfect opponents and would prove alot for him. Then hit Yuri Romanov after thaxton, and then based on how hes progressed since the loss they should decide on him going to America.

  • ...and he's just a kid in boxing terms. You look at the age of the current top ten at lightweight and he's years off any of those guys. If he takes his time this time and develops properly, I'm convinced that by 26/27, when he has more maturity and proper experience under his belt, he's going to be a World Champion.

  • Your right, but its funny, this is not how Amir would see it, this guy wants to be fast tracked, he wants to be world champion within a year every time hes asked. Then he wants hattons division and so forth, sometimes I just wonder, is it really Warrens fault.

  • your right it ain't warrens fault. like you said every interview khans sayin he wants a shot at a title. when warrens getting interviewed and he's asked 'khan say's he's ready for a title shot' a smile comes on his face and he tries to slow things down a bit. he new khan wasn't ready but all khans people wanted him to have a title shot now. there the people who wanted khan on sky box office. warren thought it was to early and it's backfired...

  • bobby and jon (u r a goon) if you seriously seriously think amir khan will become a world champion then you are seriously seriously deluded, the guy has no chin, he was rocked by a jab!!!!!!!!!!! your being very naive if this one thing does not concern you.. he has been dropped by light punching michael gomez and willie limond both light years from being top class... he has said he should be fighting nate campbell, marquez, pacman and juan diaz now that would be fun to watch hahaahahahahahhaahah

  • y r they sittin in the dark again

  • fight by fight kahn's weaknesses were being exposed and everyone with a brain knew that he was getting too far ahead of himself, and now he's got a well deserved kick up the arse... well punch in the face would be more accurate

  • lol oshite, I'm sure your joke will become the new punchline on the streets. but anyway. shit happens, it's all part of it. and if any of the fans got dissapointed cause their hero lost then they should wake up from their fairytale. no one's untouchable. no one.

  • What's Amir Khan's favorite film? gone in 60 seconds

  • ha ha lol good one

  • poor kid. chin up amir (sorry)

  • How did prescott not deserve to win that fight (stinkydiz) those were brilliant shots, solid punches who caught him fair and square. Amir Kahn will come back stronger i hope but cant take anything away from the columbian. Im glad kahn makes you proud to be muslim Bigfella123 but prescott is always going to be in that division and if kahn cant take a good punch or doesnt tighten up his defence he hasnt got a chance..

  • because khan was not fighting like he normally does, he seemed to have some sort of weird game plan to run at a big puncher like a mad man and also stand still when he should have been moving. this no doubt was rubios fault thought khan is sayin it was his fault.......whatever, khan is the better of the two fighters had he used his brain in the ring, its not all about big puching

  • The tactics were wrong from the start what professional boxer runs into a fight with a guy who has a 90% knockout record. Kahn might be the better fighter no doubt but you cant put muscles on your chin so unless he finds away to not get caught like mayweather did its going to be tough for him.

  • that's what the game is all about punching and avoiding punches, i dont think this was a test of khans chin because the shots he took were heavy and would have knocked most out. he underestimated prescott, he rushed in, he didnt test the waters, he didnt fight with intelligence like he normally does. he was crap and he dropped like a lead balloon. he's still the better fighter though

  • People said his previous visists to the canvas were "flash" knockdowns. The one against Limond wasn't,he was caught with a flurry of punches and went down hard.If a non puncher like Limond could do that,it was obvious what would happen when he got in the ring with someone who could bang. I suppose Warren will now put him in with another 20 stiffs to rebuild the myth, then when he faces the next decent fighter he will get ko'd again. Khan hasn't got a glass chin, more like crystal!

  • yeh, that would explain why he's the common wealth champion cause he's crap.........you know it alls are really boring me to death right now so please can i go now

  • he got ko'd in 54 seconds, he ain't the better fighter...and if khan thinks he is a better fighter like you do he should have a rematch and prove it. but he won't will he...

  • dont worry he'll meet with prescott again just like he did with kinderlain

  • Khans guna come back and hes guna kill that lucky prescott, who didnt deserve to win. Khan makes me proud to be muslim, and there all these stupid white cunts are here laughing at him. Me and my gang beat up shits like you all the time in my area, fucking hate this shitty country.

Amir will be back and will be world champion in the next year or two.

  • dont hate eveyone white just cause of them because then what about the white people who arent rasict? yes, you are right amir is coming back, you are right, prescott didnt deserve to win that fight its a fact becaue khan is the better of the two but he rushed in and messed up so he's got to learn

  • And thats why your hated and why people want you to leave

  • Back to fighting bums for the next year! Hopefully not!

  • I reckon this is the best thing to happen to Amir Khan. To get a reality check like this early on his career means he now knows that he has to improve his defensive skills vastly. With much better defensive skills, Khan will have what he needs to compete at the top level. It's better that he got beaten now and not thrown into a world title fight after fighting relatively light punchers and average boxers. He has a much better idea of what he needs to do now and it's all because he lost.

  • yep, agree

  • all the haters....he's not listening to you. he doesnt care about your opinion of him, he believes in himself and his talent, you are showing you are jealouse when you hate. its a shame that your girlfiends think about him when they kiss you but there's no need to get nasty about it

  • skullsytko, well said, i wish amir was here to defend himself but he isnt, not that it would bother him what a pack of sad p**** on u tube are saying about him but he'd put them all in a coma. he's achieved more in his life than they ever could in 50 lifetimes so its jealousey is why they hate the guy. he's not cocky or arrogant they're just jealouse.

  • hes got the contract with frank to become a champ soon the kidz talking positive all u haterz dnt like it go fuck ya selves ya cnt do owt bout it the mans stole the show the media the press the sponsors good luck amir khan bad boy keep the spirt up

  • listen people end of the crap he lost straight forward u will some ya lose some example ricky hatton now look at the bright side hes not giving up cause he lost a fight all u negative divz jelous prickz dnt chat shit all the time end of the day his promoters happy wiv his performance so why talk negative all u racist scumz paki this paki dat dnt like it tough shit hes made it big time hes stole the show frm ya home growns ya murrays and thaxtons

alex authors dnt like it ya cnt do owt bout it

  • the truth is he didnt even make a mistake. he just got caut and cauldnt take it.

  • Frank warrens failed with khan. If he didnt get exposed on saturday he would still be fighting featherweights on PPV

the people should be happy prescott KO'd khan. If khan was true PPV worthy he would have beat prescott.

  • amirs good but he lost end off and also he shouldnt be fighting in ramadhan but i still think he will never be as good as hamed

  • I never liked khans cockyness but he has shown to be very gracious in defeat and I hope he comes up.However his chin is very suspect

  • he's not cocky, you are

  • amir khans still a good bloke, good spirit in defeat

  • u will come back stronger good time 4 still keeping a sportmans heart

  • I'm sure he can still carve out a successful domestic career and maybe get a shot at the European title at some point down the line.

  • Ok, hes always been cocky I'm glad he learnt his lesson, its all about how he comes back from this defeat now. I wonder if Frank will give him roadsweeps to fight again??

  • of course he will.

  • He aint always been cocky. Have you ever listened to other boxers? lol This guy is a good sportsman. Not many pro's start an ameture gym for younger people while they are just getting started. I dont think he's been cocky. gutting what happened to him

  • It is gutting but that chin of his.....

  • Yeah. You either got one or ya dont.

  • Damn pakis thinking they're hard!

  • thing is can he take a punch..its ok amir saying he can come back stronger but thats easy said ...at the end of the day can he take a good punch and from that performance dont look like he can ... it remains to be seen... that fight could of been luck and right timing for prescott..

  • his career won't be the same as if he was underfeated

  • the shame of it!!! and he was talking about fighting pac man what a joke, i feel sorry for the people who paid for this shit i told u it wernt worth it!

  • it was worth it to see that happen.

  • fair enough he got caught,he is still young so lets hope he learns from it.

  • You cannot learn chin Iam afraid!

  • His trainer recomended presscot

...and was also clapping when amir hit the floor...thats strange????????

  • thats exactly what i thought, i think his trainers a mug, both presscott and Rubio (khans trainer) are spanish speaking, tells u summat there

  • wow they both speak spanish , that means it defo was a stitch up...your a fuckin dunce.

  • He aint a mug. It was a FAIR FIGHT Khan lost. simple as! That guy is a good trainer. If he set him up with a veteran with over 30 fights and a high % KO rating then maybe i'd agree but it was a good setup that went bad. their records were near identical. Fair fight.

  • that is very ignorant. but funny

  • yeah even i noticed that that should be a bit of a issue but good luck 2 him
