Yeah there's alot of woman out there that don't understand, once you got a good man, don't let him go... kinda sad.... but I guess that's the way it goes sometimes...
I WAS TELLING MY SON ABOUT REAL MUSIC(BUTTERFIELD, FLEETWOOD MAC BEFORE THE GIRLS, JOHN MAYALL) NOT THE NOISE HE LISTENS TO ESPECIALLY THAT CRAP GROUP KISS, I SAID WHO SINGING THIS SONG, HE SAID A CRAP GROUP CALLED KISS, WELL I APOLOGISED TO HIM AND SAID IT WAS GREAT AND REALIZED MUSICALLY I WAS TURNING INTO AN OLD CLOSED MINDED FART
95% of teens these days listen to the same crappy pop songs over and over. if your one of the 5% left who still listen to real music, thunb this up, then copy and paste it to t least 5 video's. DONT LET THE SPIRIT OF ROCK AND ROLL DIE!
Kiss are gods - put them in R&R HOF. 1st album I ever bought was Destroyer when I was 5. I remember shuffling thru the vinyl LPs & coming across that magnificent cover. I bought every album thru Asylum after that & became a musician because of Kiss. They've influenced EVERY rock musician from the early 70s on, period. Take a look at their catalog, it is massive. They had an ability unlike any other band to transform themselves. I'm speaking as a university-trained jazz drummer. Kiss are legends.
I love the musical arrangement and the song. However, Peter Criss carries a tune like a Vespa scooter carries a truck transmission. In short, he can't sing. But the song is still good.
this song made me cry when i didnt think i could.. makes me want to kill myself and believe in love at the same time..im fuckin crazy. ..love has made me that way..god love stinks..which is another great song
Well, on the "Double Platinum" albums, a number of songs were altered, either slightly or significantly or even completely. Strutter, for instance was completely re-recorded for that album. Other songs that were just "altered" in some way, digitally, without completely re-recording them include "Calling Dr. Love," "Detroit Rock City" and "Hard Luck Woman." The way HLW is different from the R&R Over version is as follows: (see next posting)

If this song was sung by Frampton, it would still be getting a lot of air play. Great song.

@Pmfried, that sounds like a treat, too! Some fans may say, "I have all those songs!" Extra mixes could motivate a casual fan to buy.
sandinyourshoes 1 year ago
Regarding this song on "Double Platinum:"
1. The reverb is more pronounced, especially in the beginning.
2. The drums don't come in until the second line ---> "If never I held you" instead of "If never I met you."
I can tell you about how the other songs are altered, if you want, as well.
