I don't own this game, but I'm guessing not. Probably play a few months or maybe even less based on how well you progress and you probably get called up. You might get sent back if you don't produce on your pro club too. Just my guess, but ask someone who has this game.

Yes, that's right. I have it, and I know. If you play well, you can get called to the NHL. So, no full seasons needed.

no you dont, i played 16 games in the AHL and got called to the NHL, but it depends on how well you play your position how soon you get called up.

no..you get to pick which AHL team you want to start with which ultimately determines what NHL team you will play with. But in between seasons your "agent" will give you options to go to a different a team or you can stay with your team.

The ONLY thing wrong with NHL 09 is that the AHL arenas are Generic.

I'd LOVE to see a realistic Copps Coliseum (Hamilton) where I've spent so many hours of my life.

How is the AI "not realy good"? First off, you're playing in the AHL league, the easiest of the leagues, you scored on a wrap-around, arguably one of the easiest ways to score in any hockey game, and the AI still scored on you, tieing up the game 1-1. Taking those variables into consideration, you can't accurately say the AI isn't "good".

Lol i was first time as goalie in online game and we win! game ended 6-7 lol our Computer player did 4 goals rofl. What a humiliation to the players on other team. After second round their shots were 8 and goals 4. I suck as goalie :D but still we didnt lose omg!!! ive also done a goal in online that the puck pounced from 2 players and went to goal.
