No, 5.0L is actually 305ci, but the 4.9 V8 was called a 5.0 to distinguish it from the 4.9 l6 (300). The Chev 305 is a 5.0, and the new 5.0's might actually be true 5L's, 304-306ci.

Depends on the battery, usually a few weeks. But none of my cars sit. The 91 sits the most.
