True, the largest tsunami in record was a wave over 1700 feet, in Lituya Bay in Alaska, caused by landslide of 40million cubic yards of rock. These tiny waves don't even compare to that at 30 odd feet. However this is arguably one of the worst natural disasters of all time due to the immense damage that it did.

even though this was 6 years ago, 250000 people died. Huge waves. However, not the biggest. Massive one in the 1950s in alaska, over 1500 feet high. It was a landslide filling a lake and forcing all the water out of it down a valley.
