I bought this stove from these guys in the fall. The price is the best you will find anywhere and the customer service guy Chad is awesome. I could not be more pleased with this purchase.

How is VC as a company. Didn't they go bankrupt? Just concerned about the future for parts etc. How much does this unit cost? Thanks.

@dbc400 My understanding is that the company went under for a brief period, was relaunched after being purchased and is again back on top. We found it was in the $2700 to $3000 range, but instead found the original year (1975) Defiant on Craigslist for 1/6th that price, still in great shape. Good luck!
