@reallybigphilly Alright thats more like it, i agree that our budget cuts really are putting us down... especially with the Almost-certain Cancellation of the JSF. tho the forces we still have are well-trained . in afghanistan the dutch troops are known well for the '' dutch approach ''. we seem to be very useful to the Nato-forces

haha the current Dutch government is cutting ALL tanks, all naval mine destroyers, a lot of F16's, and about 1/10 of all personnel... Country wont be able to full fill any missions on its own any more.

america is 230 times bigger than The Netherlands, i looked it up thought it might help :P but such a small country like ours can make a big diffrence.

Fucking strong? Heheheh! The Dutch militairy has been reduced to a handful of planes and ships. Tanks, planes (Orion, F-16), troops, submarines and transport, it's (almost) all gone.
And our left-wing politicians have betrayed our own troops and the allied forces in Afghanistan and the Afghan people by chickening out of that country. So from a military perspective, there is not much to be proud of.
to be exact we have 29 apache's, we had 30 but we lost 1 in 2006 cause of a flight error, not sure bout details they are probably secret and wont be reveiled.
