You have to realize that preseason is when teams experiment. theres going to be MANY picks and many errors. winning a preseason game is like watching a fat naked guy streaking across the field. its pointless. the offense and the defense play different roles and different ideas. thats what you have to do during preseason. id rather see orton play then simms. now if orton throws three picks for every preseason game thats diff. but you wont c that

To touch bases with tha statement you made on how tha d-line looked good is because of tha hire of d-line coach Wayne Nunnely. If you look at his history on how his d-line has performed (with tha Chargers), it's really impresive. Probably why I'm very happy about that hire.

Orton needs to get out of town go play in the UFL or something but we dont need him here. Chris simms and our new and improved defense will get us into the playoffs. Im really anxious to see what 6th round pick Tom Brandstater can do. Most of our rookies had a really great game and our running game will show up. GO Broncos!!
Man, Orton didn't do to hot for this preseason game, but I also expected for him not to do good considering he faced off against the 49er's first team defense. But I also believe this game showed that Orton doesn't have good arm strength, but that shouldn't matter if the Broncos can establish a running game or a the dink and dunk style throwing game.
Anyways, I found the running of Moreno impressive and I enjoyed the play of Andra Davis at MLB. Hope the broncos can do better in their next game
Watching this game kinda reminded me of the carolina arizona playoff game from last year. I'm not saying Orton did as bad as Delhomme, because he clearly didn't, but at a point in both games I thought, "Can he possibly throw another pick?"

Kyle Orton can NOT make throws past 20 yards, that's why he just "Takes what the defense gives him" the whole game! 5 yards here, 10 yards there, he can't make the Cutler throws! He is not a playmaker on offense, so if you're looking for that long touchdown pass it's not coming! I think you guys would be better with Simms as your starter to be honest!

Cutler struggled today also. Should've had 2 picks. Didn't move the Bears offense at all.
At least Orton moved the ball before handing it to the opposing team.
And Knowshon will be back by week 1. And he will start. And he and Hillis both will tear up the league together.
