ancient Hinduism varied hugely in points of views. hindu sages from different schools often met up and engaged with other in creative arguments. that is how hindu tolerance was born.
I wouldnt really say that Nyaya is similar to Christian theology but I agree that there are parallels.
The main thing is that Nyaya emphasizes heavily on logic, tries to rationalize the existence of God and also is skeptical of certain claims made about God so its Agnosticism or Skeptical Theism.
Nyaya died out but not obliterated. It became absorbed as Navya(Neo)-Nyaya into other schools, mainly Vedanta.
Madhvacharya is often accused of preaching Nyaya.
Hinduism is a vast sea ,if you enter into that you will find it never ends , difficult to fathom its depth ! Just read BhagavadGita thats the latest edition of the Hinduism ! Nothing offensive , not based on hatred ! Not exclusive ! Anyone can follow it !!!
At the end GOD himself say to Arjuna(us) that after listening/ reading all choose your way wisely !

i wouldn't say Hinduism was "made" by India and there is evidence the original teachings come from Kashmir/Pakistan but it doesn't matter the point is Hinduism is Discovered not made.
you r right when you say sankhya(Gujrati Lady thing) means usually numbering usually this school of thought is know widely as "Samakhya" rather than "Sankhya"(correct)सांख्य(devnagri in ur machine!),the bindu at the top is the anuswar ,actually its a "Ma" sound but as its followed by "Kha" its pronounced as "na" thats why all people who know but not know well call out "Sanskrit" whereas its "Samskrit" sams krit "well Constructed"
@NFah43Bk May be it would be clearer to say the yogic word referred to here is Saankhya, while the count performed on the bus gives the number whih is the word "sankhyaa"
