Marsalie had a difficult birth in BOS&A. I don't recall LIzzie giving birth. If it IS from BoS&A, then Ms Gabaldon must have her own work mixed up as she very clearly introduced it as an excerpt from the new book.

Yeah, after I said that I realized it was probably from Echo, but I'd read the excerpt several times so it was familiar. Reading Echo now... it's great so far!

Lizzie has a little boy called Rodney in BOS&A who is mentioned in this video so it is definitely a reading from the new book Echo in the Bone. I cannot wait until January so I can read it!!
