Got sent his only son down to earth who was NOT himself as the trinity theory would want you to believer he WAS his son!. His only purpose of his son wasn't to be nailed on a torture stake but to teach his people about his father.. i.e. god!. He did die for the sin of adam and eve so that we may obtain ever lasting life and perfection after gods great war or armageddon.. in the bible it says serpent and does not state what the fruit was at all. :)
I was actually thinking the same thing. The Raelian belief is more plausible than the Christian belief. And the Raelians want women to have the right to walk around topless if they want to. Heck if I've gotta listen to some chick trying to convert me I would much rather do it while she was topless.
I suppose the irony of a semi-literate simian such as yourself calling other people dumb will be forever lost on you. Or in the parlance of our times; 'L2spell dumbass lol'.
Yet Rael (Carl Vorlihon) dresses in a white space suit and poses with an uplight to make him look angelic or other worldly. He teaches sensual meditation..orgies are fine..You can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of the time. His version of God is a little green man who clones people then disposes of them after they have served their purpose. Like tissues...ah choo... chuck it away.
Or that Eve and Adam never actually existed and that Richard Dawkins is right that humans evolved. And, that Christopher Hitchens is right that religion ruins everything and promotes disunity. Or is David Icke right and we've been invaded by reptilians from outer space who manipulate our thinking and wish to enslave us for their own purposes to enrich themselves.
Rael, the bible, David Icke all have unfounded and ridiculous beliefs and cannot make any good arguments, much less provide evidence, to support them. Dawkins and Hitchens both make firm arguments for their respective positions. Evolution is a well reasoned science; creation is unfounded nonsense.
The entire point of this video is to juxtapose Raelianism and Christianity to point out that believing that 'Adam and Eve' is a true story, then pointing your finger Raelianism as being silly, is an absurd thing to do considering both are just as silly as each other. One story merely has the virtue of having existed for much longer than the other.
That I have to continually explain this leads me to one of two possibilities; I've completely failed at conveying my idea in this video, or people are generally as dense as a house brick. I'm leaning toward the latter.
Whoa, hang on. How do you know there is no other life in the universe? Given that we know of one planet with life on it, and we know that extra-solar planets exist, it's a safe bet that there's other life out there. We have no evidence of that yet, but saying that it's impossible is unjustified.
You need to demonstrate the there is no other life in the universe before you can make such outlandish claims.
@Textra1 ok, say there is life out there, but it would have to be so far away, it would be to far away for the life to branched of from there to earth.
Don't get me wrong. I don't agree with the Raelians. I think they're weirdos, but what I definitely cannot say is that life on Earth didn't come from another planet. I'm pretty sure it didn't, but it's not an impossibility. We just don't have the data to say yes or no to that hypothesis. When, or if, the data is forthcoming, we can reevaluate that hypothesis.
The point of this video is not to suggest that life on Earth started elsewhere; the point is the Raelians' belief that life was seeded here, is far more likely than a magic man in the sky *poofing* everything into existence 6000 years ago. The fact we know of life on at least one planet and we know that other planets exist, is already far more evidence than the "Magic Man Dunnit" hypothesis has. That is the crux of this video. Two stupid ideas, but one being slightly less stupid than the other.
I don't believe Raelianism is true. I'll reiterate; between the two beliefs, Christianity and Raelianism, I think Raelianism is more likely to be true. I still think it's bat shit crazy, but I think it's more reasonable than Christianity.
Is this video I'm juxtaposing the two religions to make a comparison. I'm not advocating for either of them. Isn't that obvious?
DISCLAIMER! THIS IS A HYPOTHETICAL ANSWER. DO NOT TAKE LITERALLY! I DO NOT BELIEVE RAELIANISM IS TRUE! *sigh*
However, for the sake of argument, let's suppose Raelianism was correct. Where did the aliens who seeded Earth, according to the Raelians, come from? I don't know, I'm not a Raelian. Another planet I guess. In which case there has to be an origin at some point and on that original planet they probably evolved there.
I don't agree with any form of Creationism (theistic or not). It assumes a conclusion before evidence is gathered to corroborate it. I don't think Raelians are truly atheisti; belief that aliens seeded life in the universe (Panspermia) sounds more like deism than atheism. Deism is a belief; atheism is LACK of belief.
Agreed; mostly. I don't see Raelians as deistic, though only because they're not appealing to gods as such. Though I accept that may in fact be a semantic distinction.
In either case I completely agree that Creationism assumes a conclusion. Simply calling the universe "creation" assumes too much. First it assumes that it had a beginning and secondly it assumes a creator. It's one giant begging the question fallacy.
I've yet to meet a Creationist that wasn't burdened by confirmation bias.
Difference between living things and dead matter; live things have values ie those things which enhance life. There is a natural tendency toward values, inherent at a root level. Wow. That's complete rhetorical nonsense. The difference between "living things" and "dead matter" is the ability to self organise. Any value placed on organic matter beyond that is merely projected by humans who simply have a bias for life over non-life. The universe is no more intelligent than my fish aquarium.
Your assessment of "less" and "more" is completely subjective and your entire argument is a fallacy of composition. You're assuming that the whole must possess the characteristics of the parts when there is no reason to make such an inference.
what alien = the superalien - i do understand , but u misunderstand my questions,
why who and not what ? I ask who because a what cant create, since a what is a material and not able to create.
Why superalien= God ?
Every species not from earth is called alien. So God would be the superalien, since he's the superunknown and doesn't live on earth (recently seen from my believes). Just a mindbender.. Think about it.
No, I don't. I'm telling you your questions are ill conceived. Firstly, you use the word "create" which implies a creator. Not all things which come to exist were created. Example; earth wasn't created. It formed from matter under the effect of gravity. Life wasn't created either. Like the earth, life formed under the pressure of naturalistic processes in the early earth history. The process which leads to the complexity of life is well understood.
"I ask who because a what cant create, since a what is a material and not able to create."
Nonsense. A "what" doesn't need to be materialistic. A "what" can be a force. The afore mentioned force of gravity was responsible for the formation of earth. No creator required.
"Every species not from earth is called alien. So God would be the superalien"
You're assuming that god exists. I see no reason to make that assumption.
If what you're trying to do is lead me down the primrose path to some first cause argument, just get to it. I don't need the foreplay. I can explain to you why the first cause argument fails too if you would like.
so your telling me matter came in to excistence out of nothing ? Fine believe that if you want.
You misunderstood me again, I dont want an argument. for peace sake I will not reply anymore, see if I care what you reply. Im not here for arguments like most people. I understand we are not on the same vibe so thats fine. I made a comment on a video, not to make an argument. ok ? K bye
"so your telling me matter came in to excistence out of nothing ?"
Nope, I'm not telling you that. We don't know where the matter/energy in the universe came from. It may have always existed. We just don't know. Tacking in a god doesn't help answer that question because then you're left with the question, where did god come from. If you answer that with he is eternal, then you're indulging in special pleading.

Hey, you asked me questions first. I didn't go to your channel and ask you questions. So now that you don't like my answers you're saying you don't want an argument? So why ask me the questions in the first place?
i HAVE read the bible Ive been reading it and studying it since i was like 10 my grandma is a Jehovah witness and i used to be one until i thought "ok, god was the beginning" but WHERE THE FUCK DID HE COME FROM?? DID HE CREATE HIMSELF??? NO!!!!!!!!

yeah when u die ur brain explodes into the universe and u find a new body, u have shaolin kung fu and zen, but who created the universe, eh? Where did life come from? the only people stranger than u are scientologists with their god Lord Xeunu. ive looked at all religions and the only one that makes sense to me is Babtisim so i have reason to say this
I see ur logic, partly, we have faith that God exists, and if he does, we will try to get into heaven. Really we just belive and have faith. We also try to tolerate other religions, but when they spazz out it eally pisses me off. any way, the bible was not written by god, but by the people of god, people hear god in teir consience, that is god helping you decide. and those who have a evil one are controlled by satan. think what u want, i will respect anything u reply with.
You are right. It all sums up to the money in reality. It's a fairy tale so they can get the attention, the status, like selling a product for society to use as their sheer choice. One thing is for sure, thanks to our world powers, there is free will, free will to create what humans want and what pleases them.Hey did you ever hear the phrase "God gave us Free will"Strange, now who are really god? Not the scientist, like Nicolas Tesla, who was silenced, hmmm, by who could it be?More than just him
ya your right its more reasonable than Christianity but religions were made for 3 reasons (1 to explain the unknown (2 for fun (3 simply exploited to control people "hey if you shut up complaining and keep working for me you'll be reincarnated as an angel! or even a puma! wouldn't that be awesome? now get to work..."
cool. just wanted to no how u feel. and by hte why we dont belive in mosses. we just believe in god but watever. ur kinda right i guess. how things r taken way to far
man. i never even heard of realians before. wow thats sum weird stuff. but ur right. the whole jesus thing is weird true. but wat do u think about jews? im jewish and we got sum weird ass stories. just wanted to no wat u think. :)
I'm pretty much an atheist, so I think all theistic religions are magic fairy stories taken too far. Whether it be Jesus or Moses. That's not to say the followers of these religions aren't nice enough people. Kids believe in Santa Claus but I don't hold it against them.
By and large I have no issues with Judaism. They tend to keep their religion to themselves. Unlike those pushy Christians who want to ram it down everyone else's throat.
Thanks for posting this. There are so many people ready to have a go at Raelians just for what they believe in without really a) knowing much b) comparing it to other "religions". I was a raelian for a while but don't really practice anymore. I still believe in UFOs over God. How many UFOs have been sighted? How many times has God been sighted? Biggest thing I got out of it. Keep an open mind, anythings posible.
MegaSuperHuge :)It is always more important how we behave :) even Rael states; it is better to be a good person than a bad raelian; the same applies to Christians, Muslims or any other philosophy or religious concept.
Thanks. I'm trying to get up the courage to move away from texties to video, maybe just audio. I kinda like music and images though.
The music is a composition from my old band. I'm thinking of writing a few pieces specifically for my YouTube channel and maybe trying to carry some narrative through music and images alone.
I liked your concept of comparing the Christian cult to the more believable Raelian cult. I also call all religions, cults. The other day, a Christian took offense and replied, Christianity isn't a pagan cult because it's true and widely accepted. Of course, I snapped right back, observable evidence is the only truth and all religions are pagan cults of mainstream science.
Yeah, many Christians take offense when I refer to their particular religion as a cult. It's not an intentional dig at them, I really believe it's a cult, but I do so enjoy the reaction. One of my guilty pleasures. ^^
I do it intentionally. As far as I'm concerned, people should expect ridicule if they make ridiculous claims. So, don't feel guilty, it's their own god-damned fault.
Okay well, after learning more about the Raelian cult, they are a good deal weirder than I first thought. Their ideas on human cloning, human creation and alien visitation are beyond bizarre. But still, those things aren't as incredible as talking snakes, burning bushes and resurrections.
The most incredilbe thing is that people are stupid enough to think there is no intelligent creator. Now that is a dangerous and brainwashed cult which justifies eating other beings, and otherwisewhatever you want, because it is all meaningless. These fools think all things happened by random chance. You'd have to really want to beleive such nonsense. Its like finding a Rolex, then saying it happened over millions of years for no reason but chance. Completely blindly insane...
ok i get u, but keep an open mind even if u believe in tht story of creation, i do too but i kno to keep an open mind maybe i was random and god is acutally natural for all it is, an we as humans think were so high and mighty so we cant just be so complex without a more...complex or divine and perfected being. just think about it.
Interesting video ((^_^)) hehehe Christianity is one fucked up cult lol

I'm pretty much an atheist, so I think all theistic religions are magic fairy stories taken too far. Whether it be Jesus or Moses. That's not to say the followers of these religions aren't nice enough people. Kids believe in Santa Claus but I don't hold it against them.
By and large I have no issues with Judaism. They tend to keep their religion to themselves. Unlike those pushy Christians who want to ram it down everyone else's throat.

Mary was a virgin..No doubt.
I mean, she was married and all, and Joseph would obviously not have poked her...since she was a virgin duh.

Thats right. Its not about what you are but what u do that counts ;)

The combination of the music, text and pictures creates a laughable experience. Nice work. I usually can't make it through a whole textie.

Keep up the good work!

I remember the day the realians announced that they cloned human baby!! realian dummies
My friend, cults evolve, too.
maybe wait another few years, those deluded realians will say something.

They may well do. Cults are weird, whatever the colour.
