Whoa, hang on. How do you know there is no other life in the universe? Given that we know of one planet with life on it, and we know that extra-solar planets exist, it's a safe bet that there's other life out there. We have no evidence of that yet, but saying that it's impossible is unjustified.

You need to demonstrate the there is no other life in the universe before you can make such outlandish claims.

Don't get me wrong. I don't agree with the Raelians. I think they're weirdos, but what I definitely cannot say is that life on Earth didn't come from another planet. I'm pretty sure it didn't, but it's not an impossibility. We just don't have the data to say yes or no to that hypothesis. When, or if, the data is forthcoming, we can reevaluate that hypothesis.

The point of this video is not to suggest that life on Earth started elsewhere; the point is the Raelians' belief that life was seeded here, is far more likely than a magic man in the sky *poofing* everything into existence 6000 years ago. The fact we know of life on at least one planet and we know that other planets exist, is already far more evidence than the "Magic Man Dunnit" hypothesis has. That is the crux of this video. Two stupid ideas, but one being slightly less stupid than the other.

I don't agree with any form of Creationism (theistic or not). It assumes a conclusion before evidence is gathered to corroborate it. I don't think Raelians are truly atheisti; belief that aliens seeded life in the universe (Panspermia) sounds more like deism than atheism. Deism is a belief; atheism is LACK of belief.

I'm pretty much an atheist, so I think all theistic religions are magic fairy stories taken too far. Whether it be Jesus or Moses. That's not to say the followers of these religions aren't nice enough people. Kids believe in Santa Claus but I don't hold it against them.

By and large I have no issues with Judaism. They tend to keep their religion to themselves. Unlike those pushy Christians who want to ram it down everyone else's throat.

I was a raelian for a while but don't really practice anymore. I still believe in UFOs over God. How many UFOs have been sighted? How many times has God been sighted? Biggest thing I got out of it. I liked your concept of comparing the Christian cult to the more believable Raelian cult. I also call all religions, cults. The other day, a Christian took offense and replied, Christianity isn't a pagan cult because it's true and widely accepted.
