Its the first time he transforms... one of Naraku's encarnations breaks the tetsusaiga and brings Inuyasha to near death and he transforms... later on that demon's fangs were used to make Sesshomaru's sword, Tokijin... if you need any more info i'm right her :)

I watched the movies, and Sesshomaru looked like a teen when Inuyasha was first born. Also, from what I understand, Inuyasha did not age while he was bound to the tree, so his true age is 50 years ahead of his physical age.
