This is the most barbaric thing i have ever seen. No wonder my shoulder is still messed up after two surgeries. I was diagnosed with a grade 1, mild supraspinatus tear. I was worse after each surgery, and second and third opinions say the surgeon effed up. I put the surgery off for 3 yrs, wish i never had it. Had i seen this video i would have not had surgery. Europe has far more advanced medicine than this. Knots? Strings? Can u say major scar tissue magnet, no wonder it pops and cracks now.
People whats wrong with you! This isn't genius, its down right butchery! After seeing this its no wonder my shoulder is still messed up after two attempts to fix "a very small supraspinatus tear" according to the surgeon. We're supposed to respect and admire these unbelievable surgeons and their procedures. You went to med school for this? Scar tissue will gather on the knots and along every piece of those cords. We do stuff far more intricate and complicated in our labs. Europe is much better.
Had the procedure done 4 years ago. Complete recovery in 6 weeks. I now need similar surgery on the other shoulder. I am having it done by the same skilled surgeon...a former professor at Mayo in Rochester, MN. He works with many pro athletes using the same technique.
This procedures are awesome. A few years ago, I was working in a company wich sales this prosthesis. I even was in the surgeries, it really was a very nice experience :)
This is amazing, genius upon genius, from the tools to the procedure. This is what humanity should be proud of, not war and drugs and other retarded shit.

this is one of the few videos I don't understand 90% of what they say. Interesting procedure though.

Lateral is anything away from the midline of the body, medial is close to the midline of the body...
Anterior and posterior are fancy medical terms for front and back...
Articular is ... of the joint...
Suture is a stitch...
Axilla is armpit......
Hopefully that helps a little bit ;)
Happy holidays!

Nice video on rotator cuff shoulder surgery. The medical devices used in modern orthopedic surgery are just amazing.
