  • I think it's about time cannibal corpse or deicide made a death metal version of this.

  • I can't understand those who disliked this. This song is beautiful. I have to say, I'm not a believer in God, but I love this song for how beautiful it is.

  • I like Satan

  • I'm not a Christian but this song has very happy harmless memories :)

  • METALLICA!!!!!!!

  • watch?v=ooaGhYFHIzg

  • i CAN'T find this version anywhere! All I can find is the St Phiip Choir version but that doesn't have the solos , it's the full boy choir throughout. Which CD is this from? It's not Angel Voices

  • Satan for the win.

  • If god made all the nice things, did he make the shit things as well? Like AIDs, or cot death?

  • @UnspecifiedCarnage no, man made that by its disobedience....

  • Purchase a better cot.

  • wonderful

  • good theme and tune, but io hate the fact they included god in this, ruined the song

  • @rhinomantis88 the song is about praising God, why wouldnt his name be mentioned in it? Lol

  • @rhinomantis88 It doesn't matter how much you despise religion, your original statement that a Christian song is 'ruined' because it 'has God in it' still makes no sense.

  • like in heaven

  • i wish i had a voice like that

  • Stewart Lee would hate this video.

  • i think you're great to sing this in english as you're only ten years old and i'm sure your english sound really lovely. keep it up, keep singing and keep learning english

  • All things bright and beautifal, all creatures great and small, all things wise and wonderful EVOLUTION MADE THEM ALL.

  • they are so good you guys rock

  • This is not how I remember this song going. Booo.

  • god is a great part of my life he takes away my fear when i say our father and for people to disrespect peoples beliefs shows that they are cowards

  • @johnpaul692009 not necessarily - it might just mean, as in my case that they don't live their lives based on superstition and can treat others as they would like to be treated themselves without having to read it in an old book.

  • Libera- come to Australia pleeeease xD

  • Owl city's album let me here :l

  • I hope that every person in this world can understand the true meaning of this song.

  • @NoiseInYourHead @timfidotru Guys, if you are a normal person that doesn't believe in a God, enjoy the music and be so kind not to bother others with your believes. You don't want theists to do that, don't do it yourself.

If you are a professional atheist God-basher, I feel sorry for you that you can't enjoy this without feeling the urge to post bullshit, but I know that your faith in the non-existence of God demands this from you. If this is the case, you're an extremist.

    Choose what fits you

  • All Things Bright And Beautiful

    All creatures great and small...

    Praise Almighty DNA

    Evolution made us all :)

  • The Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, the Messenger of God and His Word to Mary, and the spirit of it, believe in Allah and His messengers The angels said O Mary, God Ibcrk word in its name of Christ Jesus the son of Mary and the good in the world and the Hereafter And advised me prayer and almsgiving so long as I live (31) and the land my mother did not make me haughty naughty (32) and peace on the day I was born and the day I die and the day raised alive

  • Absolutely beautiful! Greetings from Hong Kong, China!

  • Eines der schönsten Videos die ich je gesehen habe. Absolut perfekt !!!

  • I prefer "Evolution made us all", it's more funny and realystic. Remember: God is not real.

  • @ElInventor oh hush up. It's a lovely song!

  • Guys, tell me please, who is that smiling/shining boy at the front (appears at 0:36)... the one with a bit curved teeth...

  • @vickyvicky1892

Hmmmmh, think it is Sam Coates who now helps out with the making of the CD's and writing music/lyrics. Don't shoot me if I'm wrong though!

  • @andyrjs

Thanks for such a quick answer )))))

I just found one video with also "Sam Coates"... but there he is a correspondent for The Times... so I think you are RIGHT!

  • @vickyvicky1892

It definitely is Sam Coates but the guy who writes for the Times is not our Sam - I think he is a music teacher and performs music with a group as well as working with Libera + our Sam is 22 and that other guy looks quite a bit older :)

If you look at the 2008 version of Gaudete (the one with Aled Jones filmed in St Bart's the Great) you can see Sam playing the drum with Steven Geraghty on the recorder. Sam's only solo was on the 2001 version of Gaudete on the Luminosa album.

  • @andyrjs WOW ))))

so many times i have seen Gaudete 2008, but never recognized Sam))))

  • @andyrjs

By the way, do you happen to know the name of a guy in "All things..."?? ))

he appears at 1:55 (..."who has made all things well...")

  • @vickyvicky1892

    Sorry, I don't recognise him I'm afraid.

  • no harmony??? the best version I've heard of this, is the one directed by Rutter himself with the cambridge singers.....

  • my choir has to sing this song its beutiful

  • who is the child at 1:02?

  • @PaulaCris0947 I'm not sure myself as I'm an avid Libera fan.I've been comparing almost all pictures of all former, and current singers and I have yet to match the singer at 1:02

There are a couple of pictures that have a slight likeness to it,but cannot confirm who it is.Try looking at lacrymosa(dot)org

  • @PaulaCris0947 It's Liam O'kane one of the main choristers in Libera :) He's wonderful.

  • Comment removed

  • @Shinibo

Whilst Liam O'Kane is indisputably wonderful, he is the boy singing before the one at 1:02 that PaulaCris0947 asked about. The boy at 1:02 looks like the equally brilliant Adam Harris (try looking up Adam's version of Lux Aeterna and see if it is the same kid - I must admit I'm not great at recognising the boys from back then)

  • i am a muslim

  • how i wish my voice is like this..they are realy blessed by GOD.

  • we watched this in music class and all of us were laughing at the guys faces :)))) :-j

  • @maierox Oi! Maie! Observe proper capitalization and punctuation! Dude... I wasn't laughing. I was covering my face.

  • I sang this version with my school choir back in the mid 80's... lovely song & beautifully done

  • Sometimes when you see a hospital coridor and you work in one you see the clinical side of it and realise you cannot get emotional; but then there is the realisation that one of the reasons why you do that job is to help people and then it becomes clear. Sometimes we all have to distance our selves, but the reward of helping others and the karma involved is worth so much and whenever youy do get a positive comment it means so much and this is much a beutiful song.

  • @robby22uk It's beautiful I agree!

  • Refrain: All things nice and wonderful, All critters short and tall, The Flying Spaghetti Monster, No doubt made them all, Each little tiny midget, The mountain and the trees, He made their shortened trousers, He made the birds and bees, (Refrain) (sing the chorus again dummies!) The scurvy sea-dog pirates, Must never disappear, To combat global warming, Say "ARRR!" and have a beer! (Refrain) The holy beer volcano, The stripper factory, His noodley appendage Touches you and me (JK?)

  • I like the one with the curly hair at 1:36

  • I am 20 years old, i listen to very commercial music, and even create my own. I am a singer and love to do it. I come across this and found it so inspiring. After never really hearing anything like this before it was quite a blessing to my ears. Bravo to the young and very talented singers!

  • I am an ELCA Lutheran from South Carolina. I play the piano and organ. Today (June 6), we sang this as the closing hymn. However, it was to the tune, ROYAL OAK, a 17th Century English tune, adapted by Martin Shaw (1875-1958). It is not in Evangelical Lutheran Worship, though. The pastor had to print it off. It was, however, in With One Voice.

    :-D

    His voice is amazing~

    I like it!

    5 stars to that voice~!

  • wow! very nice...

  • Understandable, though I think if you listen to Libera without all the technicality, they are still quite lovely. I would look into their older cds as St. Phillips Boys Choir.

  • Or the King's College ... not at all synthetic. It is, however, wonderfully perfect (or nearly perfect) singing! I am a musician and am honored to be able to still sing along.

  • This hymn is beautiful! The choir is magnificent!

  • i think alto

  • lovely!!!!! I love this song, and it sounds so wonderful performed by this choir, a LOT better than my school when we sing it!! :-)

  • such a lovely song sung by lovely voices...

  • that would be adam harris. He also sings "Lux Aeterna". Lovely Voice eh?

  • Ooh, such a beautiful song. We sing this song in the school choir. This is one off my favorites songs to sing !

    xx ^^

  • OMG I love his voice too! I keep skipping to 1:09 just to listen to his voice! IT's so mellow and soothing, not as high-pitched as the other singers so I find it less piercing to my ears.

  • beautiful !!!

  • thy have really nice, pretty voices

  • hahaha...i can remember this poem way back gr4..i memorize it..now..i can appreciate it very much..i like it and i like libera!!!

  • me fave werse: The mighty noble in his castle,

The lowly serf at his gate.

The Good Lord He made them,

    the humble and the great

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • isnt their voice so sweet!its so nice to hear.wish i could sing like the liberas.rnt they the liberas?

  • i used to sing this song all the time in my old school now i am half way round the world and no one has even herd of it.

  • I don't recognize any of these kids. And the one that shows up about 3 times needs braces!

  • how the hek did i get to this?! 5 seconds ago i was watching oboe solos!

  • I've discovered so many things by accident this way! Of course some popped that weren't quite as wholesome as this one. One amazing find I made involves the oboe, though: the baroque oboes in the videos of the St. John Passion (version by Nicholas Harnencourt and the Toeltzer boys choir). Just incredible sounds.

  • So beautiful. Wish my children's choir can perform it this way... Reminds of my little boy, too. Wish he'll learn to sing this way when he grows up.

  • This is the best version of this song, I recon.

  • I love this song~

  • 8th Grade Choir! God I Remember Singing This Like 5 Years Ago. Only Me And 1 Other Guy In The Class.
