the thing is its 50ft or so but theres a platform like 10ft below but because you dont see it you only see the outwards area so its an illusion to make it seem higher.

Went over the Trainasium at Aldershot back in1972, it wasnt that bad, more an optical illusion distances look further away than really are, its all about balls; get in there and do it/

Yes anyone can apply to do p coy. I'm going from scratch phase 1 and phase 2 then p coy test wk starting 5 th sept. But some people go into p coy training from other regs.

I previosley was in the cheshires in 99 for a year and a half but that doesn't mean anything.

@Uncivilization woo para basic im so sorry, i done my 1.5 run in 9.05 & they asked me if i wanted to go in the para's as my regiment is quite full. the only reason you are doing para basic is coz you want to and can run 1.5 miles under 9.18. that does not make you scary, big or strong, and id still call you a twat to your face regardless of what regiment your joining

@dannyboi923 What the fuck you on about? everyone does Basic first. I didn't say I was scary because I want to join the Para's. I was offered over 60 jobs in the Army but the Para's appiled to me. I could join Royal Engineers if I wanted and I would still go do p company. Why not join at the same time might get a chance to do some milling with me or maybe when you go basic we'd just meet behind the bike shed and fight for all I care. Good luck

@Uncivilization just to clarify this before i say what i have to say i'm not trying to start on anyone im just asking you a simple question because i'm interested, but i thought there were other regiments that have to option to do P company like i know II sqn RAF regiment do it and then the REME and Royal Engineers amongst other non infantry regiments have the choice to do it eventually.

@Lewis647 yes but only if your joining as lyk a airborne enginer ya ken. tryin to get into the paras dont have the run time but was told if i get 120kg on static lift and 9:40 run time i could get in. 120 easy and my run time is dropping lyk my respect to homo pakis. be there in no time
