Take Episode 4 out, and this would be a shitty trailer to a shitty movie. Just because this trailer has Episode 4 in it, the best movie ever, doesn't make this movie good.

I remember when I was at the theater watching another movie and then saw this trailer for the 1st time and everyone was actually cheering when they saw this trailer pop up in the commericals. It was so sick to see. I lvoed that movie so much that I even went to go see it in theaters 7 times lol.

Man, I remember my sisters and I went to see The Incredibles with our grandma and this trailer was on and I was practically scared out of my wits while watching, especially @ 1:03. I mean, I was grabbing onto the arms of the chair I was sitting in when they showed the table rising with Vader strapped to it.
The original trilogy was not perfect either. Both trilogies had their fair share of mistakes. Episode 1 should have had the clone wars already begun. Ep2, the clones appear for the last 10 minutes and thats it. What a waste. Ani and Owen should have been on the farm and Ani left to join the clone wars and Owen stayed behind. Ani should have been the same age as Luke was in a New Hope.
@MrToufiqueahmed swords are elegant and proud weapons, that require skill and concentration. with guns you just aim and fire. any coward can shoot someone in the head. it takes a true warrior to kill them with a blade. not to mention guns are factory made, whereas swords are hand crafted works of art. but this is just my opinion.

I was hyped because of this teaser. It has the real, old, Alec Guiness Obi Wan. It tries to seduce the audience into believing that we'd actually see the creation of Darth Vader with this movie. All I saw was a whiny brat get burned and put into a fanboy's dream costume, a bad replica of the Darth Vader breathing suit.

blame it on different generations, but i found episode 3 to be the best of the entire saga. i felt that a new hope was pretty boring, and 5 and 6 were better than 1 and 2, but out of them all, 3 is the best imo. best action, and i liked the story of bringing the hero to evil better than the cliche luke winning.
I really love this movie!!!! Down right great movie..........But i really wish that lucas could have included more story other then just more action. Like explain exactly why he needed the suite instead of just putting him in it, and actually showing obi wan tell owen lars why luke's situation. I mean i know its timing and edited but come on its the last of the series.
This trailer fooled me into thinking that the prequels were actually going to be good. I'd watch the trailer any day over the movie.
If you really want to know how Anakin became Vader, just watch the originals. Between watching Luke's journey and Obi-Wan's stories we can still see how he was seduced by the dark side. Either that or read "Macbeth" it's pretty much the same thing...
This teaser trailer is awesome. I don't care what all you prequel trilogy haters say; Revenge of the Sith was epic, and definitely the best of the prequels in my opinion. The original trilogy is still more epic of course, but the prequels are still entertaining to me. I for one am like that we all got to see how Anakin became Darth Vader, even if the movies that showcased this had some mistakes in them.

@darthgoku135 You know, I agree with what you say, but to a much lower degree. Watch Red Letter Media's Episode I, II, and III review and you will see what I mean. The man reviews, unbiasedly, each film for over an hour breaking down exactly why they are MORE than just horrible Star Wars films, but why they are horrible films in general. He hits on so many points that literally slaps you in face. I found myself wondering why I never picked up on Lucas' crapfest of plot holes before.

I particularly liked the bit in his Phantom Menace review, where the two Jedi are looking at the hangar bay full of thousands of droids before sneaking down to Naboo, and the reviewer asks "Why didn't they just start fighting all of them?" the only reason ben kenobi was so accurate(this being long before episode 3 was made) was because george lucas had te entire plot of the saga planned out even before the movies were all made. u could ask questions about episode 3 in 1985 or some year like that he could tell u stuff youd NEVER guess >_> :D

In this trailer... we can see Darth Vader both hand been chained/ locked/cuffed to the surgery table... but in the movie they removed that... I wonder why...?

I spent most of the time thinking about Episode III rather than watching the film. My friend and I left talking about the trailer rather than the movie we'd just watched.

@RupeeLord yeah, it mirrors the hairstyle Leia would wear in Episode 4. but there's also a in-universe/out-of-universe explanation for it: the hairstyle Padme wears is a Nubian hairstyle ("Nubian" means "from Naboo". like "American" typically means "from the U.S."). and [ironically enough,] her daughter would use the same (and/or a similar; however you want to call it) hairstyle later in life.
I rem seeing this trailer for the first time...and at first I was like some fan made this and is using clips from old star wars films to create it...and then I saw anakins sith eyes ..and from there I was on edge of my chair like no fucking way..i had to have watched this trailer over n over so many times ....its trailers like this that get you hyped up for movies as great as star wars..too bad its at an end and GL aint making no more...

What ''saved'' this movie from being Crap was the ''Darth Sidious an Yoda'' fight.... That shit was Epic as hell...

This teaser trailer is awesome. I don't care what all you prequel trilogy haters say; Revenge of the Sith was epic, and definitely the best of the prequels in my opinion. The original trilogy is still more epic of course, but the prequels are still entertaining to me. I for one am like that we all got to see how Anakin became Darth Vader, even if the movies that showcased this had some mistakes in them.

too many things he tried to wrap up in a hurry in this film! this last one is probably the best one of all 3 but its not epic in my opinion..lord of the rings is EPIC (all of them)! Lucas ruined the prequels cus he wanted to do it all himself! why even waste time with the Gungans in the first one? to be able to sell more merchandise crap?? he had plenty of years to get feedback from people and a great story.ask urself that.why after all those years all that feedback, arent the prequels as good??

@darthgoku135 You know, I agree with what you say, but to a much lower degree. Watch Red Letter Media's Episode I, II, and III review and you will see what I mean. The man reviews, unbiasedly, each film for over an hour breaking down exactly why they are MORE than just horrible Star Wars films, but why they are horrible films in general. He hits on so many points that literally slaps you in face. I found myself wondering why I never picked up on Lucas' crapfest of plot holes before.

I particularly liked the bit in his Phantom Menace review, where the two Jedi are looking at the hangar bay full of thousands of droids before sneaking down to Naboo, and the reviewer asks "Why didn't they just start fighting all of them?" Uh, because there are thousands of them? Are you retarded?

the only reason ben kenobi was so accurate(this being long before episode 3 was made) was because george lucas had te entire plot of the saga planned out even before the movies were all made. u could ask questions about episode 3 in 1985 or some year like that he could tell u stuff youd NEVER guess >_> :D

I remember when i was 8 years old and i think it was around 1996 and i was watching return of the jedi and my step dad told me george lucas was gonna make a trilogy of how he became darth vader.....and i was like awesome!.......and when this movie came out i was literally shaking in the theater!......my only complaint was i had waited 9 years to see darth vader again.......and i only saw him for 2 minutes! I mean come on! at least 10 to 15 would have been fine! but 2 min?

I spent most of the time thinking about Episode III rather than watching the film. My friend and I left talking about the trailer rather than the movie we'd just watched.

@RupeeLord yeah, it mirrors the hairstyle Leia would wear in Episode 4. but there's also a in-universe/out-of-universe explanation for it: the hairstyle Padme wears is a Nubian hairstyle ("Nubian" means "from Naboo". like "American" typically means "from the U.S."). and [ironically enough,] her daughter would use the same (and/or a similar; however you want to call it) hairstyle later in life.

I rem seeing this trailer for the first time...and at first I was like some fan made this and is using clips from old star wars films to create it...and then I saw anakins sith eyes ..and from there I was on edge of my chair like no fucking way..i had to have watched this trailer over n over so many times ....its trailers like this that get you hyped up for movies as great as star wars..too bad its at an end and GL aint making no more...
