So many 'probably classic' organ sounds don't seem available as VSTi, or as free samples.
So I decided to share the unique sounds of organs I love to record myself so much. Click my name for FREE ORGAN SAMPLES: LESSER-HEARD HAMMOND, YAMAHA ELECTONE WITH CHAINED ROLAND PLUS TABLE HARP.
Copy, record, comment and enjoy! (Or better still, make your own.)
This is a fascinating video to watch. The Silbermann organ sounds, including the operation of the mechanism of the organ, sounds quite authentic. Certainly this instrument is quite capable of interpreting the Bach Fantasia in Gm with nearly the aural sensation of a live concert. YouTube has several genuine Silbermann videos for comparison. Thanks, MilanDigitalAudio! I gotta have Hauptwerk! It should sound awesome with my twenty-four speakers sound system!
They put the low C# in this recording one way or the other (even though it's not attritibuted to a pressed note on the pedal) you can hear it at 5:32 and 5:38. They probably transposed the sample from another pipe to get it...
good performance. I like the addition of the mechanical noises of changing stops. It really adds to the authenticity. This kind of attention to detail is missing in mass produced digitals like Rodgers or Allen.
wow, well how is it virtual ? Is it a vst instrument? If so what is it? Awesome!

The first thirty seconds of this recording are truly riveting.

@birdwing98 You mean the 30 seconds of silence before the music starts? Can't tell if your comment was sarcastic or not.

This organ is great. I played on it a few weeks ago! And I am amazed how this sampleset mirrors the original instrument both in sound and optic!

Love the missing C# in the first octave (authentic).
The pedal sounds as if the organist is only using toes, as is often taught in germany, although we are not sure that Bach did this.
Some of the additions of stops would not be possible without helpers.
Pitch a half tone higher than A=440.
How does the organist play a pedal top D in bars 9 & 31? (C's the limit on your virtual instrument!)

Until you pointed it out, I didn't notice the missing c#! That is very neat!

They can't put in the C# because all of the sounds are sampled. Even if they wanted to, there wouldn't be a pipe to record the sample from.

Useless remark: I already said the missing C# was authentic. It was a compliment!
Short octave basses were often found in ancient instruments.

@1401JSC
The organ sounds as if the organist is only using toes - hahaha
OK - by the way: in Germany we play with toes (primarily) AND with heels, as otherwise you could not produce a legato with one foot - if neccessary.

Yes, you have to pay for the software and the library of sounds. The software license (Hauptwerk) and its sounds are sold by Milan Digital Audio.
