@rollydexxuser Hey, this iPod is actually mine. I have thought about selling it for around that much, but to be honest, I just really don't think I could part with it. Also, I'm a bit morally against selling free sketches
I alwayse loved Jim Lee's art, even before I knew who he was (born in 90' so it took me while to learn who did the art in x-men vol1.... I think I was eight or so when i learned who Jim Lee was and it had somthing to do wiht an issue of Wildkats.)
anywho, the guys doing X-men now are all about "lighting and realism" so teh art ends up looking all funky... what ever happened tostyle and cool character design?

Jim Lee must HATE his own Asian race, b/c he keeps on creating White/Black superheroes as if there aren't enough of them out there.
Why doesn't he create COOL Asian American superheroes, I am NOT talking about some Asian guy wielding a sword, ninja or doing martial arts, b/c that has been done to DEATH. The only one I can remember is Grunge, which died out. Give us an Asian American superhero Jim. There are a lot of Asian Americans who read and support your comics.
True, but he also is a CREATOR (Wildstorm-- ALL of Wildcats characters, Deathblow, Hush, etc). He also has POWER to choose to do what he wants/Create, yes he has that kind of power. Every comic book company wants him.
Yeah, but when he does create a character, maybe he just doesnt think about it. Maybe he just naturally draws amercian superheroes, cuz I don't really think he hates his own race. His drawing is more similar to asian styles of drawing then anything else. All the girls he draws have asian looks, especially the eyes
Oh now the topic is shifting to "His drawing is more similar to asian styles of drawing then anything else. All the girls he draws have asian looks, especially the eyes." I am afraid that doesn't cut it as creating the actual "Asian American MALE superheroes." Being Asian himself, he must see the effects on Asian Americans.
Yeah, but we should also consider the fact that he has only created ONE character solely on his one, which is Grifter, all his other characters were co-created with Brandon Choi and guys like that, and as for hush, Jeph Loeb created that character, and the name "Tommy Elliot" hardly suggests an Asian heritage. All his characters, aside from grifter, where all ready written, and he just created their costumes and such. The fact that Grifter is American hardly proves that he hates his own race.
Your facts are partially true. This can go on forever, so I am going to end this by saying that he did co-create come characters with Choi/Loeb, but that doesn't excuse him or Choi from creating Asian American male superheroes. The Hush character did not have to be named"Tommy Elliot, " it could've been something else, but I mentioned it b/c wanted to say that he has so much power, he should do something about it. Unless he doesn't care about Asian American fans. End of Discussion!
And btw, I do agree with you. There should be an Asian American hero. I don't think that theres a particular reason there isnt one, but there should be. You live in the US right? you should go to comic con and see if you can get heard about it. If you draw, you could even create one for them, see if anybody likes the idea, I bet they will
@Zawan im pretty sure how it works at the booths is yes he will be there a good while but only the first like 20 people get a sketch the rest get autographs (not saying thats for sure how it is)
Hey Thats freaking awesome. I meet him at Wondercon 09 and got him to draw on my new Macbook you should check it out! - jim lee on apple is the youtube. Has anyone offered money yet? again thats amazing!!!

He draws comics, he doesn't write them. The writers decide whether a hero is Asian or not.
