The front rows in front of the stage had the usual gorgeous young chicks dancing away, but near the end of the concert they were exhausted and had to sit down!

@epicizlil CCR did this song, yes! But CCR broke up in 1972 (rythm guitarist Tom Fogerty left the band in 1971). John Fogerty have a sucessful solo career nowadays. Drummer Doug "Cosmo" Clifford and bassist Stu Cook are playing in the band: Creedence Clearwater Revisited (1995 - present).

@acfaiden can someone tell me the story about them? I understand that the band wanted more praise than they deserved. John was CCR, the band wanted to do an album so John let them. It went no where, and as the band split and broke up the band wouildn't let John sing the songs he wrote unless it was done by CCR the went to court and John couldn't sing the songs he wrote which sucked... now 15 years latter back to court and now he can sing the songs that only he can sing. go John Fogerty

@happy04346 I have the 6 cd box set, The story is all in there. Every time one of them wanted to sing lead on a song or use a song tey wrote John would say "Why mess with success?" and that was that. Tom left to pursue a solo career ( he was the original vocalist). He later died from teburculosis. The band later split up. When they were inducted in the HOF in '93, they went on stage seperately.

I'm going to get thumbs down from different people for this, but this is my opinion.

I think John's a great singer, performer, etc. But the CCR sound that was on these songs before are not there anymore. I don't know if its because he has abandoned that trademark sound (probably not, since he still records swamp rock music), or what. But the original CCR sound is with Clifford and Cook's group Creedence Clearwater Revisited. They hold true to the sound that Fogerty lacks in these live shows.
