What's really incredible about this game is that even a decade later the quality of the character development actually makes those primitive, blocky characters on screen seem more realistic than those in modern HD games.

sorry to join in with the arguments but i think alot of the reasons why the main characters often didn't have the personality of those around them was so that you yourself as the player got to live it instead, i remember getting pissed when Cloud would have been, jealous when Rinoa said she thought she loved Seifer and annoyed that Steiner was such an arse with Zidane.....my opinion anyways haha

@Mozerlam Good point tbh, the game makes room for personal interpretation of what the main character is feeling, rather than just " Zidane is sad right now", the game is well written and structured enough that you can draw your own conslusions to the characters emotions, making it as imersive as it is.

Wohoo! One part is firm and loyal , but at the same time is simpatic, the other part, is calm, but a little mischievous or carefree, and makes you feel like flying above the clouds without problems, just enjoying the views.
