@RandomPedestrian63 But i am not and im sorry. Lets put it this way, i know what im talking about so just accept my comment, end of the story if i didnt know i wouldnt comment.
@RandomPedestrian63 You're not a pilot but if you were you would love to use the brakes at maximum right after the wheels touch the ground and also you'd like to lower your nose wheel when your turning to the left that's nice right????? Got it??? Do you understand why did i say that?
@JOLY823 I am a pilot... He says right in the video the rudder and wheel are controlled with the same input... I then analyzed the landing as if the wheel wasn't actually turning because he pointed that out. You're right, brakes were used a bit early, but I doubt the tires would have blown.
Hi Steve/Cessna154, I was just wondering if you could consider making a video of a flight from Manston (Southeast UK) to Charles-de-Gaulle in Paris (Don't mind what plane). Manston is my nearest airport and I never see fs videos of it on Youtube. I think it would make a nice change from the American destinations you usually do. Thanks, Toby/Airbus294
Yes, I am aware, but frankly don't care all that much considering the viewpoint used for this video and this aircraft's slow braking abilities, in my opinion.
When you record content that is being replayed it usually is not as fluent in terms of movement of the aircraft. I have always stood by my live recording techniques and I believe the hundreds of videos I have posted back up my claims.
@Cessna154 How come the Electra bounces? I know it's old, but its landing gear is configured like most modern aircraft...one in the front, two in the midsection. It shouldn't really be bouncing.
@MandeepGadgetBoy - you obviously don't know what you need to do to get FSX running smooth. Look at my videos, with the i7, you'll see its more than enough.
Lol. i have X-plane, and ive flown a real plane before (a piper warrior III) and its not as realistic as it would like you to think. i do agree with the sattling part, FS could really do without unrealistic stalls, but the aircraft do NOT turn on a dime and ARE realistic in my mindframe. Some FSX default aircraft (the 747 for example) arnt realistic but alot of them are. most "good" freeware and pay-ware ive found is great for realism and is close as it gets to the real thing.
see this is what one of the things i dislike about fsx, a very small adjustment in rudder, will only adjust the rudder very small, but the noze gear a large amount.
so it looks like you are being really aggressive with the rudder but your really not.
when i get a dual layer disk player im going to get xplane, when i was at a pre-flight school this summer (like am intro to the school) they were using xplane, and it has much better flight dynamics.
X-Plane's selling point is the 'blade theory' which makes the flight dynamics highly realistic unless the developer gave the programme wrong dimensions of the wing. In contrast, FSX is easier and has better graphics compared to X-Plane.
look at cessna154's videos where the planes start spazzing out, or can turn on a dime, thats not realistic.
in xplane you can actually do spins, and spiral dives, and realistic stalls. when you stall in fsx, you just start to slowly float to the ground, its not realistic.
WOW as usual another great video Cessna 154 and the noise of those engines is amazing especial in reverse thrust. Also great landing, i cant belive you film these live, i could never land in the camera view i woul dbe way off!!!!!

MandeepGadgetBoy 2 years ago
Yes very much Quad cores are much better for FSX than dual cores.

From what I have seen and tested personally. The E8400 will operate nearly the same as the Quads of a similar specification.

I'm so angry why i7 ain't the BEST for FsX (as said by Cessna154 and others).
MandeepGadgetBoy 2 years ago
The I7 is the best for FSX. Period.

i7 is not the best and many agree with that statement. i7's are simply not for FSX, but i7's are great for other applications.
