@JOSHroolzd00d depends which album you mean. "Nailed. Dead. Risen", I think, had alot of grindcore and/or brutal death metal influence. I say this mainly because of, 1) the brutality of the music, and 2) the "whispery" or "inhaled", or w/e vocals. now, "Serpents Servant" was pretty much melodic death metal, aka "melodeath"

The term "core" is breakdowns,etc. That music has nothing to do with Emos/Scenes.
