  • dude, i couldent get my pikes right but literally third try after watching this with the leg swinging tip i got a couple perfect, ROCK ON!

  • A tip he didnt mention in this, is instead of consentrating on swinging your legs when you're in a handstand, consentrate on your hips. it's a lot more simple. just switch the direction your hips are facing.

  • There is another move called Deadman, that is like a 1990 but in the opposite direction.

  • a deadman is:

    when you do a normal 90 you go in on your left hand and then on your right and then you throw da 90 (that thing with your left hand is to get the momentum)

    and a deadman is when u go directly in without this bonus-momentum from placing a your left hand first then you go directly on your left and throw the deadman 90... (doesnt have anything to do with the direction of the 90...)

  • Haha this is a nice tutorial really. I've been scared to actually do pikes cuz I thought they put more strain on the shoulders than Nikes and L-kicks, and I've already injured my shoulder twice. But I think if I do it your way I can do it without straining my shoulders so much. So I'll give it a try when I go out next time.

    And your pikes weren't bad, don't worry.
