I already hacked the game where all of the towers cost $1 and upgrade costs $0 then $1 then $2 then finally just $3 for the final upgrade

lol no what it does is when u link the vortex to lets say a laser tower, it will suck up the energy as well as the vortex, from what i understood it gets stronger,if u link it to a missile launcher it gets a bonus shot and stuff....i think thats what it is :P it was hard to hear and understand the guy...

Is it just me or is there no explanation of linking maxed vortex nodes in the game. I have been playing since it launched and never knew that you could do that.

I appreciate them making a tower defense game where it matters how you line up the towers, instead of just upgrading and spamming towers, but there REALLY needs to be a much more easier mode. Part of the big appeal of tower defense games is that you can simply lay back and don't have to be on my toes all the time. There's NO way you can play this game casually AT ALL.

Have you tried on novice mode? Go to options and change it to be easier.

Brilliant game - I love the Vortex tower, such a nice addition to the tower defense genre.

The game is so DIFFICULT though, having said that, I love a challenge!
