you wont get the SAME sound unless you get a rickenbacker bass, most fuzzboxes(distortion pedals)will work some nearer to this sound than others, but the main thing again is ye olde rickenbacker...........good luck x

@ashlerder oh yeah there's a seventh album coming out soon.. there's a dvd that just came out as you must know "under great white northern lights" and a new record for 2010... that's all i know, i'm also very excited about that :D
