  • I've been checking this bag out for awhile. Looks like a solid active shooter bad but the lack of easy mag retention is keeping me from purchasing it. If it had a dump pouch built in like the Sneakybags did i would buy one without hesitation. Great review Raventhunder, worth a like and subscription.Does anyone know why sneakybags stopped making bags?

  • I can't help but think that these shoulder rifle bags could be done better. They are way to tactical to be discrete. I have a ThinkTank Retrospective 20 bag that is way better designed and more functional, when fitted out with velcro dappers. They make a 5 10 20 and a humongouse 30 also. It is more discrete, and functional and frankly better materials. The flap velcro can be silenced and the bag lends itself to customization.

  • I just received my TIB in the mail this week and I love it! As you noted, it is hard to retain spent magazines with it. I'm still trying to find a way to incorporate a dump pouch and still keep a discrete appearance.

  • Nice bag. I'm currently using a Maxpedition Active Shooter bag in black with molle front as a low profile carry bag to keep in my vehicle. In trying to keep it low profile (grey man), I can't bring myself to put a dump pouch on the exterior, so I've run into some of the same problems you have with mag retention (hate dropping them) when trying to place them in the bag. It can be done, but it's not the easiest thing to do. I'm liking the TIB for an even more low profile rig.

  • @JeremyHopper007 It's one of the best solutions that I have seen out there. Like I mentioned, the strap it comes with is slim and unpadded. If you have a strap from the Maxpedition, or can get one, I highly recommend swapping it out. Other than that, the bag is 100%.

Nice videos on your channel, clearly you put some time into the editing.

  • @RavenThunder I'd like to put far more effort into editing and format, but real life often gets in the way of that in terms of time constraints. I also have a Hawkepak MA-52 that I've been toying with as another option. It attaches to the belt and hangs down, like a sub load, also being supported by the shoulder and leg straps. While not as visually low profile as I would like, it is a bit easier to carry when wearing a ruck (or BOB) with a load bearing waist belt.
