  • Hello,

Sounds like the thermal cut out tripped again. If the dryer tested good with no clothes, the cut out is bad again. The reason the cut out fails is normally due to a clogged dryer vent. The vent hose that connects to the dryer can get clogged or the vent in the wall. if the dryer is pushed back and the hose becomes kinked the cut out will also trip. Check the venting friend.

  • I have a Roper Dryer and i changed the element, i also got a set of thermostats that apparently went to the dryer but one of them did not look the same size and had only one hole for the screw. I only changed the one that looked the same and nothing happened, then i said f it, and changed the other one. It worked when i tested it but then after putting clothes in it, when i came back they were still wet. They element was no longer heating. Do you have any idea what might have happened?
