If you know the piece, great, but if you don't the silence for many can be unbareable. Surely then it is art whether people laugh or not. It can depend on the atmosphere of the place and what has preceded the piece. Sometimes people will laugh...so what? It isn't exactly a chopin nocturne or a Liszt extravaganza! Sometimes people are too serious.
Annoying with people laughing. Ruins the experience. So the only interesting thing left in this video is the describtion of people not understanding art.
