  • I have trying to pay my bill for an hour. It is stupid to see the way the web site is design to make you waste time because no alternative is possible. The phone option didn't work, using 2 different ATM cards, ( with money ), Nor the checking account option, The cards were rejected with no reason. PEPCO web site is the worse option It didn't help at all. Is that the way PEPCO gets more money from the customers?

    I signed up to the pepco website, and put the right password twice. I also confirmed the account; however, when I tried to log in, the pepco website would not even recognized my password. I was 100% sure the password was right, and the caps was not on. I tried to log in several times. And now my account is locked. Heck I did not even get to pass the login page.

  • Aww shucks...are these guys serious??!  Hope that clown of a "customer manager" has been fired, along with the CIO and entire IT mgmt staff of PEPCO. If they were a local charity site, i'd get it, but for the nation's capital utility with huge profile and budgets, this is deplorable. I'm in I/T and just stunned at such sloppiness. These fools are supposed to safeguard our water supply too? Lord have mercy!! Enough of this, heads need to roll.

  • I love the comment from someone at Pepco telling us to go to their troubleshooting link. No thanks. You lost us with the bloated, non-resposive web pages. The troubleshooting is your responsibility, Pepco, not mine. In the mean time I'll just have to receive paper bills and pay them through my bank web site. Why Pepco did something as inane as disable their ebill service is beyond me. Utterly terrible!

  • While I understand what PEPCO is trying to accomplish and can even sympathize as a fellow IT professional; it is common IT sense to not release such bugged application into the mainstream. Talking about 100 monkeys writing code, sheesh, the new My Account, may look pretty here, but not in real life as is never up, I simply can't see my bill, let alone pay it. What's next, an iPhone app that also doesn't work?

  • Its 3/4/10 @ 4:00pm and I have been on hold now for exactly 31 minutes to get some help to sign up for this new stupid service just to pay my Darn BILL. What does it take to get this back to the way It was because new aint always good. This New MY ACCOUNT Proves that statement to the fullest.

  • I Have Never in my Entire Life saw a Website that is So Miserable Horrible that All I want to do Is SLAP Someone. Personally The IDIOT who thought of this NEW MY ACCOUNT. They must have been born Stupid because this WEBSITE IS. I have signed up for this Mess about 4 times since 2/2 I have requested help via EMAIL and have not recieved not one response. All I want is to pay my bill which I cannot Do. WE all should request the Old Bill back ASAP. This is the Worse Not even a Cave Man can do

  • Part 3 - Pepco: You failed badly! If there is a choice, I will not be your customer any more!

  • Part 2 - She said she had solved the problem and would send me a new password and I would be OK. Well, first the email never arrived. Second, I reset the password via their web site, I still could not log into my account! The error message is "My account self-service is not available at this time due to system maintenance". The same error message I have received in the past 5 days, through 3 computers plus my iPhone.

  • This new "My Accounts" sucks! Absolutely sucks! I have been trying for 5 days and still could not login! I used to be able to pay my bill online no problem. Now I am stuck! I have sent them emails twice. Each time they promised to get back to me within 2 days. That never happened. I called their service desks multiple times.   • this is an abomination. PEPCO why wont you send bills through my bank anymore. Typical public utility shafting their customers!

  • This is the WORST web site that I have seen. I have been paying my bill on line for over four years without any problems. Yet, with this new site I am unable to sign in either as a return user or a new user. This is the most disastrous IT error in PEPCO history. People are unable to pay their bills! The disgruntled remarks below exemplify our frustrations. I called today and hung up because the wait time was over an hour. In the words of the Simpsons comic book man, Worst web site EVER!

    Pepco is one the worst power company in the country.I am getting ready to file official complaint with Montgomery county public commission.

  • The same thing happen to me until today I cannot sign on ...why they even have a site when they can't help you with the problem....I could put up with it if it was at least a bank for crying out loud

  • Ridiculous. I have been receiving emails and no paper bills for over a year To sign up for the new service (mandatory), you have to enter information only available on the paper bill. I tried to contact customer service, and after a 15-minute struggle to get through the voice-operated system, I was told the wait to talk to a representative was over 2 hours.

  • I've got to say I'm not too happy with the MY ACCOUNT serivce at Pepco. The old one was better and allowed my bank to receive the Pepco bill and set up the payment. The new MY ACCOUNT looks like it suffers from feature bloat, and this was made pretty clear by the registration process took like 15 minutes, mainly due to waiting between 1-2 minutes after clicking submit in each step. Hey PEPCO, bring back the older, better ebills!
