The greatest player of Beethoven, IMO, and one of the most complete musicians who ever played the instrument. This is magnificent, noble, incredibly musical playing of the highest order; many thanks for sharing it and recognizing him as one of the greats. If you or someone has his first recording of Opus 31, No. 2, it would be wonderful to hear; it is the only performance of this elusive piece that makes sense to me.
