I just thought of something. There is one other thing you could do on Day 2 that you don't normally do. You could get that ring. Think about it. One Captain could go through the water to that ledge where the big 10 Pellet appears (later), the other Captain throws some Pikmin up to him, & then he takes them & uses them to get the ring by the Snagret. It may be tricky, but I think it's possible.
Oh, yeah, I forgot about that. Hmm...well, you could still come back on Day 4 after you got the Whites but still without Yellows or Blues & get it then, & you can try to force them not to carry it through the water, like by pushing it down the slope on the other side. And you could still fight the Snagret on Day 2.
Except the ring is buried and you need white pikmin - gotten on Day 3 at minimum - to get it. Nintendo purposely had both of the treasures buried because expert players would try to do what you said.
well its not really littered all the humans became extinct on the game i think it was the air i know we breath in Oxygen but maybe something happened im not sure but i know they got all killed

If all the humans died out from a poisonous gas, then perhaps olimar DOES breath oxygen, but this poisonous gas is what he finds toxic.
