Problem is if this happened then we wouldn't get to see the two guys fall into the shark pool in the lift. what a genius idea! wudnt be half the film without that shark scene.

LOL! Loved it, the editing was perfect. Moore's Bond actually executes Stromberg in cold blood, sort of a throwback to the Connery films.

That would have been so much better. In the films, his death is the worst in the whole series. Everyone is crushed, exploded etc. He's just shot. As hundreds of other people already have in the films.
